The Book of Mormon has changed my life, and I'd like to offer you a free copy: www.churchofje...
You are like an angel who came to me at the right time when I was just thinking "What can an economist work?" and everyone was saying banking, finance and business. 🤢
And this has helped me a lot, and now it is gonna redirct me.
BTW, I am in my dissertation doing literature review on MOOCs for development countries. Any suggestion?
There is no search box at the top? Has it changed??
That's an interesting way to explore opportunities! Another helpful way is to save these dream job postings/ads (even those that you don't qualify for yet) and analyze them: what is the education level they tend to prefer? What are the majors? And what are the skills you need to have? After you figure that out, you then can prepare for that job or similar ones if it arises in the future. Remember, success occurs when opportunity meets preparation 💪
This is great advice, I actually do the same thing
@@andremikhailobierezrfccwms6724 Glad to hear you're on the same page!
I am .actually looking for a career path in research of consultancy that combines sustainability and development economics.
That's my dissertation topic. Have you got what you sought?
This is great advice, not just for economics majors but all others
The pikachu story 😂😂😂
I am planning to major economics in BA with minor in Political science but I an afraid it will give me any job opportunities as the economics in BCOM..
Wouldn't you just look for research positions rather
What about a video where we could use DATA to determine the best masters degree for an economics bachelors
great video, straight to the point, u deliver on the promise of your titel and more, i will use this to find philosophy jobs. wish me good luck =)
Wow! This is exactly what I thought. love economics but I don't think I can get a good job. So I majored Electrical Engineering Computer Science. But for graduates I really want to study econ.
"Life is like pluging a toilet, sometimes we have to push through some crap to get the comfort we seek" so accurate😂😂😂😂
That was the best LinkedIn advice I've ever gotten (Including advice received in two different business communication courses).
Wow awesome strategy!
Great points in this video. I'm wondering if you have any thoughts on careers specifically for PhDs in economics? Besides becoming a research economist. I'm considering a PhD in economics because I love the field so much, so I'm trying to see what possibilities it will unlock that aren't available with only a Bachelor's.
First comment haha
Thanks for this video. This helps me a lot. Keep the good work hermano!!
Great advice! I too have a similar story but with health sciences. Months after graduating and starting to receive sums of money I discovered my love for the markets and investing. I don't know if I'll be able to find a job in the field of investing, but I am happy doing it myself and the fact I've been able to beat the index's for 5 years helps too. Maybe one day someone will take a chance on me and employ me for my ideas and ways of thinking of the world.
I always thought it was a myth that economics majors do better at investing than finance majors
@@kamohelomahlatsane7136 Most of the best investors will tell you what they teach you in school is pretty useless. As long as you're really good at math, you can do really well in the markets.
Fantastic!
The comment about LinkedIn is spot on. But how to utilize it by how you mentioned is something I never thought of, thank you!
Make a video about Austrian Economics and your thoughts on that school of thought
That’s actually super helpful. I’m gonna go do that right now haha
