Man can;t wait for the movie, I want it to be over the top with cheesy dialogs and big musical. Bright and simple plot honestly cuz it just fits.

Well Sega officially said that it would be like TikTok. Which is not that good, yeah I definitely think that Space Channel 5 should be a musical, is a rhythm game so it would make a lot of sense that it would be that kind of film. And with the cheesy dialogue, it’s gotta be cheesy dialogue to the point that it makes you laugh.

@@journie3042 I’m just more surprised that a few concepts of Jaguar had him with Purge’s hair colour. And Yumiko Miyabe’s drawings of him, make it look easy, even know it is clearly not.
It takes me like 45 minutes to get it right.

I’m sorry to say this, but expectations are very low for it. The story as told by Sega officially is not that good.

@@SCHfan-jb4zo It's going to be a fun movie with plenty of good music. That's all it needs to be. I'd be more concerned with the upcoming Comix Zone movie if I were you.

@@SCHfan-jb4zo They are doing a queer take on it. This is from the Hollywood Reporter:
Zone, an adaptation of the cult console game, follows a jaded comic book creator and a young, queer writer of color who, when sucked into the final issue of his popular series, must put aside their differences to stop a dangerous supervillain from sowing complete destruction. In the process, they wittily explore the ever-evolving art of storytelling itself.
Zone will be written by Mae Catt, whose credits include writing on the Emmy-winning animated DC series Young Justice, and the How to Train Your Dragon spinoff series, Dragons: The Nine Realm. She was also a writer on Netflix’s Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy.
Royce Reeves-Darby and Erik Feig are overseeing both projects for Picturestart and will produce alongside the company’s Samie Kim Falvey. Picturestart already has a toe in video game adaptations as it is one of the companies producing Borderlands, Lionsgate’s fantasy based on the Gearbox/2K Games video game.
Sega’s Toru Nakahara, producer for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise as well as executive producer for Sonic Prime TV series, will produce the two adaptations. Takumi Yoshinaga, Sega video game director, will join the team for Channel 5 while Kagasei Shimomura, Sega’s video game producer, will join the team for Zone.

@@MacUser2-il2cx right, well, I guess time will only tell.
To be honest, I’m mostly freaking out because of the concept art for the characters that they showed in this video.
Jaguar was almost going to have Purge’s hair colour. I am both laughing and screaming at the same time.
      I’m a Jaguar fan girl. 😶
