Lyrics translated to English: Who rides, so late, through night and wind? It is the father with his child. He has the boy well in his arm He holds him safely, he keeps him warm. "My son, why do you hide your face in fear?" "Father, do you not see the Elfking? The Elfking with crown and cape?" "My son, it's a streak of fog." "You dear child, come, go with me! (Very) beautiful games I play with you; many a colourful flower is on the beach, My mother has many a golden robe." "My father, my father, and heareth you not, What the Elfking quietly promises me?" "Be calm, stay calm, my child; Through scrawny leaves the wind is sighing." "Do you, fine boy, want to go with me? My daughters shall wait on you finely; My daughters lead the nightly dance, And rock and dance and sing to bring you in. "My father, my father, and don't you see there The Elfking's daughters in the gloomy place?" "My son, my son, I see it clearly: There shimmer the old willows so grey." "I love you, your beautiful form entices me; And if you're not willing, then I will use force." "My father, my father, he's touching me now! The Elfking has done me harm!" It horrifies the father; he swiftly rides on, He holds the moaning child in his arms, Reaches the farm with great difficulty; In his arms, the child was dead.
This translation is better: Who rides so late through the night and wind? It is the father with his child. He has the boy in his arms; he holds him safely, he keeps him warm. ‘My son, why do you hide your face in fear?’ ‘Father, can you not see the Erlking? The Erlking with his crown and tail?’ ‘My son, it is a streak of mist.’ ‘Sweet child, come with me. I’ll play wonderful games with you. Many a pretty flower grows on the shore; my mother has many a golden robe.’ ‘Father, father, do you not hear what the Erlking softly promises me?’ ‘Calm, be calm, my child: the wind is rustling in the withered leaves.’ ‘Won’t you come with me, my fine lad? My daughters shall wait upon you; my daughters lead the nightly dance, and will rock you, and dance, and sing you to sleep.’ ‘Father, father, can you not see Erlking’s daughters there in the darkness?’ ‘My son, my son, I can see clearly: it is the old grey willows gleaming.’ ‘I love you, your fair form allures me, and if you don’t come willingly, I’ll use force.’ ‘Father, father, now he’s seizing me! The Erlking has hurt me!’ The father shudders, he rides swiftly, he holds the moaning child in his arms; with one last effort he reaches home; the child lay dead in his arms. Liszt does such a good job at making the elf king seem so mystical and creepy, the ornamentation when he plays is perfect, not to mention the sheer panic heard from the son
The father and the son rides on the horse. The winter wind drowns out the sound of the horse's hoofs against the cold ground. The winds seem to whisper words to the boy's ear. "Come play with me," the wind whispered. "Come play with me and my children, we have many toys waiting for you." The boy held tighter to the father, "father, did you hear that?" "Hear what?" the father said. "The voices calling to me." "There are no voices." The winds grow stronger, and a silhouette forms. A man wearing a crown. "I am the king of elves, come join me, my beautiful daughters will wait on you." the silhouette whirled around the boy, and shadows begin to form around him, taking the form of beautiful girls, with enchanting smiles, dancing through the air. "My father, did you see that? Do you not see the elf King and her daughters?" The father's eyes widened. He had heard of the stories his mother told him. The stories of the elf King who would lure children into the forest, where they are never to be seen again. "I do not see them, son. Hold on tighter to me if you're scared, son. I'll protect you." the father grasped the reins of the horse tighter, and hastened to find his way back to town. "Boy, you are trying my patience, if you are not willing to come, I'll take you by force!" The boy screamed, and his father saw the town's lights. A gleam of hope flashed in his eyes. "Hold on, son. We're almost there!" The shadows around him circled around the boy. Each of them slowly forming faces and taking on the form of elves. Their cold hands grabbed the boy, with their sharp claws digging into his flesh. The boy let out a scream. "Hold on, son. We're almost there!" The father can feel the warmth of the town, and they were mere footsteps away from the safety of the town. "We made it!" The father exclaimed. Silence. "Son?" the father turned around, and saw his son's body. His face lifeless, with his eyes gouged out. His mouth still wide open. "Son!" the father exclaimed, holding him close to his chest. "I've failed you." the father let out a shriek of his own, wailing. The elf king watched from the forest, holding to boy's soul close to him.

(Op. 55 No. 1)
2) Chopin's Prelude in B-Flat minor, No. 16, I know this one is hard but I'd really be interested in hearing your interpretation of the piece.
I am the first to see the video, you are the best in the universe, my friend, I congratulate you.❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪💪

3:14 real fire begins 🔥🔥
I expected to see floating notes, but still cool!
And yes, the smoking effect is mesmerizing!
Oooh I love this piece!!! The smoke is cool cool.
Sir, I might make a character in my novel based on you... an absolutely amazingly gifted virtuoso who is just unbelievable, and just acts humble about everything.
Just finished practicing, watched this vid, and I swear I have more hand cramps now than before...
Traum, how is it that you manage to be the most clickbaity yet also the most legitimate synthesia/overhead pianist on youtube.
I have been waiting for this piece. It’s so beautiful and powerful.
Wow traum , very good 👍👍❤️❤️
Thanks!!

Can you play nocturne op 55 no 1?
I personally perfect it with the synthesia. Beautiful playing thank you
Love it! Please go on spotify
Wow Spectacular performance 🎹 Bravoooo 🎹👏
Wow insane performance, also I really love the new intro animation looks great, welcome back traum😊
Absolutely beautiful. This is the first time I've heard this piece but I recognized the melody instantly. It was used in a song called This Machine Kills Ravers by Dada Life.
If you upload without synthesia please do it like you’re doing on Traumian. I’m really enjoying those video’s! I hope we can see live performances from you again soon!😉😃
Oh I love this piece
