But I can tell you that sesame leaves have a unique scent, resembling that of mint, I think? I'd like to say it's just like a little rough, minty kind of lettuce.

if you get gizzard then marinade in Dark soy source with some radish past BBQ it then sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on it after the gizzard is cooked. goes well with sticky rice.
I really like it, when you can grill the meat yourself. I also hate it, when they prepare the meat for you at regular korean BBQ spots. Some people say it's good service, but I just love to prepare the food the way I like and to pace the meal myself.
I eat gizzards and pork and beef in my stir fry with a special siricha sweet spicy sauce it's really good and I cook the gizzard for about 1 hour it makes it have a slightly crispy and it melts in your mouth
you like pot cake. pot cake can be rice stuck to the pot or a kind of dog. they're both good but I'm talking about the rice. we don't make a soup out of it. we enjoy only the crunchiness :)

Better way to eat the sesame leaf is to put the meat on the back side of the leaf. It's much smoother on the front, so it'll be much nicer to eat.
