Features like this really need to be in vanilla, it would be one great way to add more interesting gameplay to the merchant and noble parts of the game

If this works with the new player+ mod, you could spend some time as a character, built up a small kingdom, then switch to a brand new character in the world with your old character just a new NPC faction. Do this a few times, you could just have your own dynasty and bastards splinter factions playthrough. Imagine playing through, building up a kingdom, then playing as his bastard kid who builds up a mercenary band with a couple castles, and then switch to another new character to fight against them. So many fun possibilities to sort of...add in your own challenge by making whole new factions that you hand-crafted.
If I could expand this mod. I would love to be able to raze cities and castles on the map to equally make the map inhabitable. If you dont have a constant stream of construction and reconstruction. And probably a caravan to migrate people into them. Like when you raise a town, the people disperse. And they will try to build a new town, or join a new town that has space open nearby. Same for cities. Maybe you actually pay people to move in, poaching notables from other towns that will move a migration wave which you can then attack or defend. Maybe the mobs of people die off or change into bandits if they fail to integrate somewhere. Making the world more alive and dynamic. Even if AI has a preset array of location to trya nd rebuild or build on to us it themselves on their conquest of Calradia.
This is amazing this will allow for so much more things to do. Imagine if they make it so AI can do it to, it would be so intereting seeing all those new settlements
as for bound villages it's 5 to a town max and 4 to a castle max for 10 towns and 15 castles. but with other mods that allows you to make adjustments to it you can go up to 150 which is max.
Check the mod discords but I saw it listed as unofficially working with old realms according to the compatibility channel thread. That means if there are issues the mod team devs aren't going to worry about it, they're focused on their own big mod.
@@CrazyCriceto The NPCs are a mix of copies from the scene they came from, but with the randomized names, and new NPCs that are based on culture/kingdom. So it is both!

Last content update was in December 2023 though, and Taleworlds is NEVER communicating anything on their progress or intentions for the game.

I already had this downloaded, saw it when it first came out. I absolutely love it. It even works with Realms of Thrones.
And the cultures you choose for your settlement are from the MOD or from the Vanilla game?

Building a castle and placing a castle are two different things
how do they look when walking around the castle? do they function like every other one, how does it pick a layout to use?
