I feel bad for Lula. I love how you visualize the flaws and mistreatment of Fasttrack into Lula since her inspiration to join the Plumber was how Ben used Fasttrack to save her home, even though he had much faster aliens.

"Some of us are stuck with our flaws" is easily the rawest line in 5YL and highlights a flaw with Ben I wish they explored in the show. When you can walk a mile in everyones shoes, you're bound to forget that everyone else has to walk _every_ mile in a single pair.
Not just that but those times he complains about the aliens he transforms into being useless and valuing based on their powers. Unintentionally insulting entire species of people who don't just exist to fight and do cool things.

I really enjoy the characterization of Ben in this. You do a really good job of portraying the experience and wisdom hes gained over the years while still showing his flaws in the inate impulsivity of his reactions.
Ben is 100% correct about Lula and choose the correct response to ensure station security. However, when confronted by Lula, his impulsive and hotheaded nature leads him to let the conversation get out of hand. Thus unintentionally hurting her and coming off as unprofessional to those around him.
His flaws come out in his personal interactions rather than sacrificing the intelligence he should have by this point.
THIS is how you show a characters growth in maturity while also maintaining who they are at their core. Well done.

Looks like Ben sees a lot of his old self in Lula and is lashing out because of past trauma and because he's afraid for her. He doesn't want her to make the same mistakes he did. Also Zed is the best character in the comic by virtue of being a doggo. And all dogs are good dogs.

I adore that this Ben is already showing signs of slowly detaching himself from others and is really putting everything on himself, like how Ben 10k from original series was.
When he reprimanded Lula for something his younger self wouldve done, having Cooper oversee them, his old temper flaring out, even down to him being unshaven and longhair showing he hasnt been taking care of himself (in one of the Beyond episodes, i believe he says he had regularly only sleeping very briefly after several days of being awake)

There's Ben's stubbornness which makes Ben repeat his character arc in the TV series. You guys captured his personality perfectly.
Ben was a bit harsh on Lula but that's just accurate to who he is.

Lets go my GOAT Kevin is back! So far I like Lula and Ben's relationship as she does remind me of a inexperienced Alien Force Ben, and the "I'm laying eggs in your stomach line" got me laughing like a loon. The lucky girl design is also really cool. Loved the chapter, I do miss Kevin wearing a black shirt though.😅

Ben and Lula's fight was so dang good. The voice acting and the writing are so good. Kevin's comment was the perfect cherry on top because going back and watching the scene again as though Ben were in Lula's position felt so good

Constructive criticism: they should’ve gotten Richard horvitz to voice zim, it’s not like ink tank would’ve been the first indie artist he’s currently working with, cough cough helluva boss cough.
@@greygaston1263He’s probably under the same contract Sean Schemmel is with Goku “…you cannot voice characters in other properties with the same name as ___” which is why he’s allowed to do Lucario, even though Lu is basically just Goku, but Richard Horvitz wouldn’t be allowed to voice Zim here. Also lots of people on the production teams of Ben 10 or Danny Phantom aren’t even allowed to engage with the Ink Tank’s work, like Duncan Rouleau

Am I the only one who thinks that Ben might've been a little too rough on Lula? After all, Lula brings up a good point when she says not everyone's like Ben and has the ability to change their appearance whenever they screw up. Tears shed for Lula. Let's all hope she eventually recovers from this😭
Yeah, but Lula went against protocol, Lula got into a fight with Ben cause Ben didn’t trust Lula enough to continue being a leader, after she screwed up, so ofcourse if she confronts him for being careful again after losing so much after one mistake, he’s going to yell at her

Let's talk about how she comes off as an entitled bitch. She doesn't seem to care very much about the hacking instead focusing only on her problems and is lashing out at Ben when she doesn't get what she wants.
Actually Ben didn't meant to do that to Lula because he doesn't want her to make the same mistake as him when he was younger, I mean Ben acts like Grandpa Max while Lula acts like his younger self
I like how you made Ben sound more serious in this episode, the relationship between Ben and Lula is a nice parallel to Max and Young Ben from classic

Honestly, Ben was right to yell here. Because having your base’s systems hacked is an extremely big deal when that base is a space station because one of those systems is life support.
The hacker here could have killed aomost the entire orion squad with the press of a few buttons.
The reason they didn’t was most likely because Lula’s idea made them *so* helpless that killing them would only serve to raise alarms.
In other words: her idea was so bad killing them wasn’t worth the effort.

Oh man, I convinced myself I said the idea was “stupid.” So glad I didn’t. The idea wasn’t stupid, it was actually a good idea, for a different situation. She assumed there would be hand to hand combat. Not a bad assumption all things considered.
Her real mistake was circumventing preexisting procedure without understanding why it was like that.

I love how you guys have replicated the jingle from the Ken 10 episode, and the classic creepy Ben 10 music, the characters from Ben 10 all feel like them, the references to other Ben 10 characters, even the refereence to the esoterica, Ben's outbursts seem in character, Lula is still 'human', there's also the 'Omniverse theme' as a little jingle, the transformations for Danny and Gwen are so natural, and the transformation for Ben into ultraviolent looks disgusting, like the OS transformations

This episode leaves me conflicted. Cus this is the first time we REALLY see the divergence between the traditional Cartoon Network Ben and Ink Tank Ben Tennyson.
I can’t lie and say it isn’t off putting to see Ben 10 of all people care so much about Protocol. But then again this is Ben 5 years later, and we’ve seen bigger character progression leaps before between the series (Classic and Alien Force coming to mind).
Still i think as an audience member I think for me personally it was jarring just seeing Ben hammer Lula over and over again about protocol when strictly following protocol rarely used to be Ben’s MO to begin with prior to this series with it rarely getting in the way of his success. In fact the episode where he actually was plumber trained pretty much completely validated him not following protocol but understanding what it was.
An easy argument could be made this is just a sign of Ben maturing, but it does leave me to wonder what exactly made Ben’s way of thinking change to be like this (which may be explained later in the story idk).
Perhaps, and this is just my take, maybe in my head it would’ve been better if Ben was a little more easier on Lula, stern but understanding that she just isn’t ready to go off the book just yet.
Perhaps the point of this is just that Ben doesn’t know how to be an effective mentor yet, since in Omniverse he flat out states he hates doing it and Rook pretty much caught himself up with some of Ben’s pointers. And if that’s the case, I guess my complaint is mostly irrelevant lol.
Idk, I guess what I’m trying to say is this episode left me entertained, but conflicted on to if I like this interpretation of LEADERSHIP Ben 10 or not. The following episodes will determine my judgement I guess lol.

Has Ben ever actually lost anyone he cares about? Other heroes have had to learn from great personal tragedy, like Peter Parker's Uncle Ben or Bruce Wayne's parents or Danny Fenton's entire family in an alternate timeline (not to mention being hunted by his parents, his uncle, and Valerie) - to my recollection, Ben hasn't. He's still got Grandpa Max, even with his supposed sacrifice early into Alien Force; he's also still got his parents, and still has Gwen despite her sacrifice in Secret of the Omnitrix.
Sure, Ben's had plenty of dangerous, life-threatening trials he's surpassed, including stopping the Highbreed invasion and being a brick wall to Vilgax's plans of galactic conquering, but nothing as permanently, personally scarring like the death of a family member.
Then there's Lula's "some of us are stuck with our flaws" line, which...with how executives demanded Ben act in Ultimate Alien and Omniverse, yeah he was kinda stuck with his flaws for a while. So she's kinda wrong there, albeit because of higher-ups controlling his world and not something that makes full sense in-universe.
He lost some friends and plumbers like Pierce and Magistr Labrind.
He also kinda lost everyone in Omniverse and made copy of them. Yeah that happened
Wow, just wow there are so many things I liked about it for 1 we got to see the Orion squad The voices fit the characters perfectly. 2 the transformation sequence was so good the rapid movement of the camera angle and the theme song brilliant absolutely brilliant 3 ALIEN FORCE IS BACK!!!! It was great seeing that dynamic between Danny and Kevin and Gwen even if it was just for a small bit it was great. 4 The drama between Ben and Luna, the voice actors did incredible job made it feel real absolutely incredible definitely parallels between Luna and a younger Ben. 5 just the entire episode I loved it.
Yeah, that’s basically all the things I liked about it. The whole thing was just so great incredible brilliant spectacular honestly I don’t know any other words to describe it without it sounding like I’m just reading from a dictionary. Just the whole thing is fantastic. Keep up the incredible work!

What if Ben had a DNA sample of SCP 2006, if I were Ben 23 I would name it 2010.
But Scp 2006 can shape shifted into any form it wants that's include sound, mass, density, volume, chemical structure, and voice with means this alien will be too op for Ben 10 so I say not cannon.
Also if I were prime Ben i'll called it, T.T.A short for THE THOUSAND ALIENS.
The name is a reference from a spider man villain called the thousand.
favorite part was seeing Ben, Gwen and Kevin together again for another mission. Plus, gwen and kevin met with the one and only danny phantom for the first time ever.

It's a very human thing to get angry because someone makes the same mistakes as you
Because Ben sees Lula as his younger self so he doesn't want her to make the same mistake as him
He is now different and mature so he's afraid about her recklessness that he saw in her and he have an experience with the consequences of her recklessness as he was like her too it's not hypocrisy
I really love the visuals for the temporal rift when explained and when going through them! I'm excited for the visuals in the next episode!
Great episode as per usual. The tarnsformation scene was sick. I feel bad for Lula, dang, Ben really hit her biggest insecurity there. I read her page on the wiki and love the lil backstory she has, I really feel like that's the "point" of the omnitrix, to show that anyone can be a hero, they just have to act with the gifts they have for the greater good. I wonder if species ever get jealous when Ben doesn't use them, though? Regardless, great vid!
I love the panel of Lula looking at a figure of Ben with an Omnitrix symbol on him. It kind of reminds me of how Gwen Stacy views him in my story.

I cant help but feel that ben sees a bit of himself in lula, the difference is that he can afford to make mistakes due to the fact that he has the omnitrix while the others can't
It's also Ben's responsibility to keep her from making the same mistakes he made in his youth.
It's a bit sad that the multiversal cameos in the Temporal Zone scene (like how you can see Code Lyoko's Factory and a few other CN worlds) isn't present in this version, but I suppose it makes sense to streamline things for animating the Motion Comic (and given the context, it'd probably just raise questions about _why_ Vlad and Eon were visiting random places with no meaning in the plot... maybe the [REDACTED] needed one of Xana's Replika Supercomputers and a supernatural plot coupon from Endsville?). Either way, looking forward to the next episode!
Gwen's cat woman design is so good.
Gwen and Danny's transformations kinda are similar and opposite since one is related to life and going ghost speaks of the dead.

I mean only reason he’s considering slower is mainly lack of speed feats because xlr8 was able to run in essentially flash time at ten and jetway crossed the universe within seconds

This is going to be a long one. I absolutely love this series. It's crazy how you made a kid show have a adult reboot that actually works well. so far things fit together better than the actual show. the amount of time and effort that has gone into this is just insane. Like for an example of adult content that works so well, the part where Ben and Lula yell at each other says everything Ben said after. the amount of stress Ben is under is not an excuse but it would make so many people do that same thing, he literally has to worry about his everything going by in some crazy way that is most definitely (because Danny) so much worse than any other way it could have gone before. Lula's call was smart just not the best, Ben should have and could have said it in a better way and he easily could have when he told her what to do and why. (This is going to continue in my reply to this comment because I'm running out of space to text here)
The amount of time and effort to make the show flow so well is just insane. The fact that you made the live action Ben 10 work so well is crazy (I think he had a army of him at that time but there could be a easy explanation to that if he did.). I haven't even been able to work on my game yet but that amount of time, effort and attention to detail y'all have is what makes me really want to work with you on hopefully all of my games. I don't expect y'all to do this amount of work on any of my games or projects but I would love to bounce ideas off y'all and if y'all ever want to make a game I'm completely down to make it at some point. It will have to be after R.R.P. is fully operational tho. That last bit was meant to be a compliment, I don't know what else to text to fully get my point across. In reality, snapping on your commanding officer would result to serious repercussion. Lula is lucky that even Ben saw that he did something wrong and just ultimately not doing anything after the confrontation.
Ben and Lula both still have a lot of growing and learning to do

I still love the transformation sounds so much! they fit the way it looks so much better to hear cells melting and being absorbed back into the body, bones shifting etc.
Whilst what Ben said stung deeply, Lula put everyones lives at risk there, abusing her authority.
Also it feels even more like the actual show by letting the characters lightly swear since that's just how they would speak.
God this might be one of the greatest Ben 10 media of all time. It has that…FLAIR that Ben 10 has!

Lula was making some good decisions, problem is Ben is putting Missions priority over her feelings and gut instinct, he should realise he went through the same thing too when Max was obsessed with the mask and sword from classic and even he put his foot down against the mission when it came to the team

I know it's true but I don't know them by heart. I know Lula is the only one who isn't based on any of them, she's just a character created from scratch. For the others I recommend you search online in the Ben 10 wiki 5 years later
They were only vaguely based off of them in conception, and quickly evolved into their own characters entirely.
