Try left leg turning kick or roundhouse then step down with the leg you kick with in front of you then do a spinning heel kick with your back leg works well for self defence and flows well if you get the hang of it

There are 4 tiers as far as I know, I am currently almost to tier 3. Tier 4 is black belt level. We are a ATA martial arts academy.

Never practice just one martial art, in a real fight you must be inventive and unpredictable but also disciplined and trained well enough to understand your own body and mind.
Persobally from taking taekwondo, its a better fighting form, and years after having stopped, the strength of muscle memory and flexibility still stuck with me

When you use a little bit of both you turn into a monster. Each school teaches things a little differently, each has great merits. I learned so much great stuff from TKD, and then I boxed with my boss for a few years. The difference in style was amazing to me because the foundations are totally different. These days I mix and match both to end fights as quickly as possible. But staying totally honest, I've only ever been in a handful of fights. Most I've won. One I had no chance of winning, and another was more of a scrap. I didn't stand a chance.
