I know it would be out of character for Arthur, but what if when you have high honor and you rob someone Arthur could say "I really don't wanna do this, but give me your money now damnit!" It's just a little theory that Arthur's honor dictates how he speaks in robberys. High honor Arthur regrets and try to be civil, and Low honor Arthur is cold and doesn't mind ending the person for their money if he has to.

You never ever want to do that during any attempt at intimidation. The second you imply that you might not be willing to pull the trigger could be the moment they try to test that theory. Arthur would know that high honor or not and continue to put on the act. Also if you're playing a high honor Arthur it doesn't make sense to rob small fish.
With me having full high honor I have be the white knight and investigate because if I just ride off and do nothing I lose honor for doing nothing basically for being a bystander 😂

If I'm going for a legit playthrough, I play dishonorable for over half of the game (killing Jimmy Brooks, not helping strangers with miscellaneous things, etc.) but after Arthur is diagnosed, I make an effort to greet npc's, help people when I can, and generally make the good decisions. It provides a more immersive experience imo than just blindly doing whatever in the game
That's how my first (and only) playthrough went. Free-Aim, too. Managed to get the High Honor ending without a guide, and beat the FUCKING DOG SHIT out of Micah's ears. There will never be a Wild West game this good ever again. My only regret is that I didn't record enough of it to make a Game Movie for my family to enjoy. My family loves these kinds of stories, and RDR2 delivered in every way. The Bandit Challenge is such an honor annihilator when you're the high honor kind of player... Took me 3 or 4 full playthroughs before I found a reliable way to regain my lost honor and finally decided to go for that Bandit gear. I must say, it looks pretty sweet! 🤠

I'd never cared all that much about the various challenges in RDR2 until my 3 or 4 playthrough, so I hadn't gotten organized about it, that's all.
I legitimately feel horrible when I see the look on the person's face as I seize their 44 cents. That's why I try and rob big wigs and dangerous fellas, if their willing to knife fight they must have something good

As a High Honor player. I risk any other confrontations if I rob (Mainly because I got nothing else to do or I'm curious about side businesses) You aim the gun in a remote area at your target, make sure no other random NPCs are around, you rob them and kill once they whip out a gun.
As much as anyone can play a highhonor playthrough youll never escape the villain role arthur has played. You can try to be good. But many occasions he says hes not a good man. may be honorable. But not a good man
I couldn't play a Arthur as a bad man. I've never rob or kill anybody innocent. In GTA series being a bad is come easy but in rdr2 not. This game is too serious and too mature.

Whenever i robbed NPCs as high honor arthur, i hogtied them and put them in the middle of the forest to assure no witnesses, oh and if there were witnesses i'd do the same punishment. I did this to blow off steam.

Every time I lose honor for robbing, I immediately recover it by greeting other NPCs. Can't be a bad guy if I level my honor 😈

Thats how I did my first play through. I was able to get my honor back to almost halfway but still got the bad honor ending.

There is an equal amount of specific high honor quests and rewards in the game. You’d know if you played High honor once
Some stuff that can be added to the RDO and will bring the life again to that jewel.
