Welcome in team! Today we're diving back into some Blackbeard, playing against Enel. Did you think Enel would go away since blackbeard in OP09? You're definitely mistaken, this leader is still very strong due to his passive and Kingdom come (raigo) which easily deals with your 10C teaches. Playing into this leader is a nightmare if they draw the removal cards. Getting rid of 1 10c is OK, but multiple a game is a huge problem for Blackbeard. Also I'm debating on getting rid of our stage card entirely, thoughts on that? Hope you all enjoy, and happy holidays! Great Video as always. You‘re right. The Raigo is a problem for BB. The huge bodies come face to face at the end and if you can’t chain your own 10C BBs it’s almost over. I play the Stage on 2. most of the time I trash it for Leader effect. I think the strength of BB lies in the flexibility. Yes normally you want to chain the BBs on 10 Don and set up your early game removal with DocQ Laboon/Auger but the stage can come in good for the 10c search. For example 8 don you can play jack and the stage. So you can mill twice for 10c. I also play 2 Mansherry, yes she works against burges but she allows me to take back shiriyu/Laboon/Auger/Burges from trash to have an answer for a removal, a 2k or planting a potential swing. Also she is a potential blocker like lafite. Your opponent doesn’t want you to take back cards from trash so she protects for 1 swing. But that’s just how I play and what feels good to me. Can’t wait for the upcoming videos ❤️
@ Yeah the Enel matchup is tough if they see multiple raigos! Ideally ofc you want to chain BB, but sometimes that feels impossible if he pops one. Jack, on curve feels great. But I feel in this matchup he’s a lil lackluster if we don’t see Laboon or Aug. Aug is def easier to search, but at times in Enel matchups he kinda chills till late and drops bigger bodies. Either way I’ve learned a lot into this matchup and I made some mistakes here, the biggest one was when I dropped 10c teach after I swung. If I had done that before hand, Enels passive wouldn’t have gone off. Than ofc he raigoed, but that’s to be expected haha I do like sherry, I first few iterations used sherry. She does some work being a potential blocker. I’ve also considered dropping stage, considering how it works. Sometimes it feels counter productive. Overall, more to come!
If you were to drop Stage, what would you put in? Its pretty good for the cycle every turn, and boosting Burgess. I've thought about things to change up too, that way it's a little more versatile considering everyone has been prepping for Teach since it was revealed.
@@thedtrain800 next time we got this, Enel is going to be a learning experience. It’s tough when you wanna try to chain BB back to back and they may have raigo ready :( lol
@ just out of curiosity what do you think you should have done differently to combat some of the Enel’s stuff? Outside of not seeing some of your pieces.
so you had an auger , burgess , and 10 beard in hand when you swung at enel with 1 life , so that turn you should of set up a second burgess trashed auger for leader (he cant heal) now the raigo is dead in hand , you're super health you don't care about 2 swings since it benefits you and every heal he has is onplay and he cant draw since onplays are off you save that BB blocker for when you pressure life for game so he cant leader heal and uses cards in hand to defend
You didn't draw a card off Doc Q k.o. effect
Yeah it happens lol
Twice!
@@MainCharactersyndromee yep lol I learned not to be so fast.
That's was a great match-up!! That Enel player plays really well!!
Yeah it was a pain in the butt! He's still learning, but he played very well! Sadly he had the raigo rdy to go, I was cooked!

I wanted you to win so bad and I was cringing every time I didn’t see you pull a black beard. Still very well played and kudos to the enel player.

@@Blzero9 yep that whole play cooked me there lol. We spoke after game, I needed to 10c first
I wouldn’t kept black hole over finger gun but done you had ice age I get why choose finger gun over black hole
Yeah just in case hes running kiko. Wasnt 100%
You swung kinda unnecessarily into life without negating his leader eff. Why not establish multiple Jesus and wait for him to blink first
Because I didnt see multiple, Jesus, nor 10c BB to do so.
blackbeard is probably one of the hardest deck to master
@@CarlTM not at all. lol his deck is easy to play. It’s not his deck you need to “master” it’s the MU it’s self.
Wait blue nami deck aren't?
