There are 18 different recovery stories in the series. The individuals came forward voluntarily because they see the value in their own journey and want to share it with others. So-called "real" recovery stories, where the effects of mental illness do not appear visible, certainly do exist, but this was not the objective of our project. We wanted to show the many faces to mental illness. The stigma surrounding mental illness will not be defeated if this diversity of experience remains hidden.

Recovery is only difficult until we find a cure! Brain is a complex organ to understand inside-out.

I think you're being rather immature to judge him so harshly. If 'success' to you Andrew is only measured by having a good job and wife I hope for your sake that you don't have any twists in life's long and complicated road. If he were doped up as you call it he would not have been able to communicate as he has about his feelings. I am a MH professional so I see the affects of anti-psychotics a lot. I hope time brings you wisdom and tolerance.
