I love how the “thank you appreciate it” is so simple and effortless but you can still tell he’s genuinely thankful for his customers by the way he says it.
@@issheready 99% of his customers are from the east coast as well. It’s completely understood the way he talks. Trust me no one at all is taking offense to it. He’s genuine but laid back. Literally everyone that operates in the Philly, Jersey, Delaware and New York area is like this.
Who else gets high while watching? It helps me pick out what I’m going to be munching on. Even though I wish I was near a Chris RedHot’s…so could taste that Sloppy Joe 🤤
Recently discovered your channel and just wanted to say this is soothing and therapeutic to watch. Something so satisfying about watching a true master ply their trade. I'm all the way out West but next time I'm in Jersey I need to stop by!!!
Two questions: 1) what type of tool is used for the mustard? 2) Does the cheese whiz stay warm in that squeeze bottle? Thank you very much for vlogging and sharing your journey to success with us.
Fr man something about these videos feels hypnotic. I’m a 15 yo kid and I feel like this is a window of sorts into the city, jobs and stuff like that. Not to mention it’s just generally therapeutic
I live out here in Seattle. We ain't got NOTHING out here but gas-station "dogs". I need me some of those Red Hot dirty water dogs! Love the vids Chris and hopefully see you up on Goldbelly soon!
Bro this stuff is so calming to watch, I can't explain it. And you're so personable, I'm a quiet dude that struggles in person with people, your vids are a joy to watch man. Keep it up bro.
Dude, I think I can make your life easier with a suggestion. One window should be for customers to give their orders to one of your employees who fills out a pre-printed standard form that has all the options/checkboxes for toppings and quantity of dogs. He can then post the orders in sequence in front of you on a magnetic board or sticky note or whatever. This way you don't have to memorize large complicated orders, you just keep referring to the form. The form then acts as a receipt if you want. I've seen other channels do something similar. If interested, let me know and I'll send you a link to a diner that does this. I enjoy your channel, but now I'm really hungry.
I think you need some colour coded stickers so that you know which hot dog is which when its a big order. The big order of 12, you had to open them up several times and it would just be easier with something the seperates each hotdog from the next.
The worst ones are the ones with 5 people on their cellphone trying to get orders and not even knowing what they want. I actually saw a guy get put to the side by staff at a Subway because they were holding up lunch rush pulling that BS. We ALL made sure he knew we were shaming him with our eyes and heard a _Fkng Ahole_ or two under our breath. It's why I have no problem at all with restaurants w/ no cellphones in line policies.
Chris I used to work at a shawarma fast food ,maybe you could use this tip. When you have a long order write em with a marker e.g. cheese onions chilli = c.o.c . It would be easier to find something missing
Dude, you could have done the 12 dog order just fine on your own but as soon as your buddy started throwing hot dogs into the mix, it messed everything up! I would have told him to stay on his side of the trailer. 😂
The customer with the big order isn't patient while the previous dog is getting made. It's just me but i think they need to wait until you do the order first and then move on to the next one.
Your level of patience is incredible. That guy who wanted little details on his order right after you made most of the dogs would have really pushed me over the bar lol
The customer ain't always right but every customer matters. Gotta keep em coming back even if they're difficult, plus if you go off on the difficult people the easy ones might not come back.
Hi Chris' Redhots! been watching your videos for couple weeks now, and i am a fan (from Canada) - just a suggestion : Maybe for larger orders, is to write the initials of the orders on the paper? That way the customer and yourself can differentiate the orders?
could of made the order easy. just randomly saying things over and over. oh you are making some right now, let me just tell you the three to five different dogs that i want right now. in case like this guy. if i have a customer ordering more than 6 probably get a paper out and write it down first.
I live in Southern California and 12 hot dogs with 3 sodas would cost you around $80-$90 $6 to $7 for a plain hotdog or with ketchup and mustard $1 more for chili $2 more for chili and cheese Any other special hotdog $8-$9 I need to travel to this guys place and try his food because it looks good and affordable
I love how the “thank you appreciate it” is so simple and effortless but you can still tell he’s genuinely thankful for his customers by the way he says it.
Yeah he doesn’t really seem to appreciate it
He's just a grim northeasterner. How they are in demeanour he's genuine. Delivery RBF though

”Is that you all need?” 😂
perfect amount of cheese and/or chilli. Every time
Big order was painful to watch ..could already tell it will be mixed or chaotic 😅

You need to tell them hold on give me 2 hot dogs at a time they're giving you the whole order at once before you make anything
Could just write down 1: Oni_Chi_Col_Hmas_ 1: Must_Chilipota_ 1: Cheese ectt on the bag.

The way you can open a bun with just your thumb, and it's not all ripped to hell is magic.
