Ouch! That was a convincing victory for Le Garde. But I love the jungle terrain (and appreciate the tips on buying the two tone aquarium plants). But, if you don't mind my regularly scheduled pedantic comments, there are a couple of rules points that may have made the game a little less lopsided. Any hit from shooting, even it doesn't beat the target's armour to make a SP removal, requires the target to make a courage test. For a full strength unit, it's unlikely that it will fail, but you can always roll snake eyes. Perhaps the humans might have retreated and been suppressed if they got unlucky? Secondly, I think whenever a unit that has gone to ground makes any action, it then loses the GTG status. So, if it fires, it loses that extra armour bonus.
That's right, and I have been missing that you can't Firefight at extreme range. As for the longshot suppression chance? You can't suppress Elite Infantry if they are within command range of their leader, behind hard cover, or both. Not unless you wound them. With a Courage of 3+ any bonus puts their morale check at 2+. You need that wound penalty to even have a chance.
I thought the humans were heavy infantry? But point taken with elite infantry - those laddies are tough! And I owe you thanks - I completely missed the slight change in courage checks in this iteration of Rampant, that previous casualties don't count. So, thanks! And I missed the lack of firefights at ranges beyond your weapon's range, so double thanks!
Ok. Gonna have to get this book. I'll use my armored space mouslings vs some skin-suited humans with a couple of battle tech type droids.
I just pulled the trigger and ordered this. It's been on my watchlist for some time.
Keep up with the videos, man. I really enjoy watching!
Neat, certainly want to see more of the space dwarfs!
Poor stunties, keep these bat reps going! Love this system! Building a necron force atm.
Wow two videos in the same second
Magnificent!
Thank you.

Love that paint job. So pretty😊
So Cool! game looks like a lot of fun... thanks for posting.
Does xenos rampant have 28mm rules?
Yes, its designed for both 28mm and 15mm
It is built for 28mm figures and a 4x6 table. I just cut all measurements in half to squeeze the rules into my 15mm space.
@@Alex-sf5uz yay I can use my einherjar!
