- I could never understand why Mercedes never offered a touchscreen on the E Class W212 facelift stereo when other manufacturers did 🤷🏻. So I did it myself and upgrade the Mercedes NTG 4.5 Command system with Koason 1920HD Android touchscreen with Apple Car Play 🙌🏻

Bro the Controller(knob) in the middle doesn‘t work do u know What i could do Like i can‘t go right or left up or down with the Controller which cable is the oke i have to Look for

Only thing i dont like is it blocks the front sensor leds. Which it sat slightly lower
Yeah, I don't really notice that I what for the beeps😆.
I never use touch screen on cars with controls on the armrest. The screen is too far, I have to bend to reach it. Far more convenient for me are the controls on the armrest and steering wheel. I will need android auto for my w212, but I would probably get the one that keeps the original screen

And after a while the unit rattles and when you change cars it can be a problem

Did I miss a video or did you not get around to doing the intercooler, turbo & injectors upgrade? I'm at 315bhp, up from 242, thanks to GAD Tuning which is pretty much max for the standard injectors and turbo. Looking for tips on where to go next as I hear that 400wheel bhp is not impossible for these beasts.
No you did miss a video I still haven’t got round to fitting the hybrid turbo.. I am still waiting on a couple of other mods before I do the install.. 👍🏻

Yes you have inputs on the screen..
Great video, been looking at that same head unit for a while. But I don’t understand why the cable had to be run to armrest? Do the cables at back of head unit not connect to speakers?
Not for the sound it has to be connected through the AUXILIARY port.

Do you have to install a sim card and the Common Roof Antenna also needs to be connected or may be a part of the kit it self and also same for GPS Antenna?
No need to install a SIM card for this to work, it just has the option. Yes it need the the gps antenna but mine sits at the back of the unit in the dash and it works well.
@@RichOvertonGasoline Thanks a lot. My car even windshied is tinted with Heat Rejection film and also all the windows -GPS signal is is nil or very low

When I bought the screen it only took a couple of days for delivery.. I purchased it for the same link.. 👍🏻
@@RichOvertonGasoline I've found one in Europe which will arrive on 3rd Sept. I've got no chance of fitting it myself, don't have the skills. Will find an engineer before I purchase, cheers for reply.

Still running it without any issues.

Yes, overall it better than the OEM unit, however it sometime the video feed doesn't come on until you put the car into reverse, I think there maybe a connector loose somewhere but haven't had the time to check.😆👍

hi how has the unit held up any probs?
Unit was all good but moved out of it last year!!
I can’t get audio to work. Did run cable to the arm rest and plugged in. Nothing. Also I cannot get apple carplay to work.
Have you got the Mercedes stereo set to Aux?
@@RichOvertonGasoline I do, but now I am thinking that maybe the fiber cables may have come loose when pushing the harness into place. I need to pull the radio out again to confirm. When I pull the fiber cable in the trunk to the amp, I don't see any light emitting from it. I can't think of anything else it could be. Thank you for the reply!
I think I have a deeper problem. Out of frustration I removed the android screen and reinstalled the factory system and still have no audio. I am wondering if my amp is bad. I noticed the fan on the amp is not spinning. Do you know if if should spin all the time when the radio is on? Just trying to figure out where my issue is. Thanks!

Have you updated the device with the latest firmware / software? I would email the manufacture and ask them. they should be able to advise on the latest version. Thanks for the support👍
