I think we should not ignore these stories just because some people had a good experience. Employers are different and some stories are too bizarre to ignore.

Fact is most people in Middle East are very happy and progressive. I have more than five family members doing different jobs there and they come home and go back and they're doing great things they couldn't have done if they remained in Kenya. What I can say is, character goes a long way in determining the reception you'll get anywhere in the world. Sadly the few bad cases, though sad and emotional, have made the positives which are majority to be overlooked. Recently I have had stories of Kenyan girls doing prostitution in Qatar with Nigerians, when something bad will happen to them, that will not be the story that will be told on the media.

Fact is most people in Middle East are very happy and progressive. I have more than five family members doing different jobs there and they come home and go back and they're doing great things they couldn't have done if they remained in Kenya. What I can say is, character goes a long way in determining the reception you'll get anywhere in the world. Sadly the few bad cases, though sad and emotional, have made the positives which are majority to be overlooked. Recently I have had stories of Kenyan girls doing prostitution in Qatar with Nigerians, when something bad will happen to them, that will not be the story that will be told on the media.
