Thanks for all of your comments and suggestions, I used a couple of things in a sandwich, you can see a photo on my Facebook page. I've also had a large slice of the cake which was lovely!
Parsnip and carrots boiled then mash together is lovely
Wish they did that over here in the US, great idea and great value. I'd make use of everything in there personally.
best thing is , if items dont sell when reduce by the time shop closes , staff get everything for free , i havnt bought bread in a year because of this
The cake is worth fifteen pounds u got a amazing deal there mate 🎉
Roxys animals might appreciate some of that veg? And you can send the cake to me 😂😂
Lynne I'll try to squish half of the cake in an envelope and post it by MunchExpress!
a slice for everyone!
You can freeze the herbs, and even the chillis. You could even prep and freeze the parsnips. Chop the chives and put them in a little pot. They're nice stirred into scrambled eggs, or even mashed potatoes
Thanks 👍
U could do a fish with butter and dill wrapped in tin foil and cook on bake in an airfryer or if u don't have a bake setting then on 160 for 15 mins😊u could also roast the parsnips to go with the fish😊cabbage u could make a cabbage soup😊cake I reckon would cost around the 8 pond mark😊
Thanks but I'll probably end up eating the cake and giving most of the veg to Roxy for her pets!
great ideas 👍 nice
Boil and mash those parsnips, with a bit of butter, and throw some finely chopped chives in there. Have it with a couple of sausages and a gravy with some of them challotts in it!
Now that sounds right up my street, I've got sausages, I've got Bisto, thanks! 👍
I think the morrisons ones are the best! I got 2 on Monday and had to give half of it away 😄
Salmon lemon and dill 👍
Chilli and tomato soup garnishes with chopped chives, with the rolls to dunk. Followed by Lemon cake
Great suggestions although I've never made soup in my life!
bread and chilli dipping oil, roasted parsnip and cabbage broth, and cake to end
The cake sounds good, the rest doesn't!
@@BitOfMunch it does, we just have different tastes
@@matthowardtv each to their own, be dull if we all liked the same things 👍🙂
@@BitOfMunch i would enjoy the company!
Honey roasted parsnips definitely worth a try! Excellent as an accompaniment for any meal! Not sure on the dill and chives 🤔
I've just used some of the chives, check out my Facebook page.
i would say put the chives in with the honey roasted parsnips- just put the big chunky cut parsnips in a big mixing bowl with oil honey and a decent handful of them- dill's a pretty common herb wih a roast dinner
Add the chives into mash
I like that!
Easy to freeze chillies
❤️
Thanks, another Too Good To Go video coming very soon 🙂
The only thing out of that bag I would have ate is just the cake
That's the undoubted star of the bag!
nice find with that cake, well worth the £3, even out of date it'll be ok, get in there
Breakfast cake tomorrow! 😋
£15 for the lemon cake according to Morrisons website 😮
That's what I put in the title! 😂
Oops.. sorry didn't see that, on my telly the title stops after "including a cake" 😂
@@debbiecowden7360 😁👍

I like how happy you are, it’s kinda sad though that you have to eat this reduced to clear style stuff though, good deals but still not the best man but I’m glad you’re happy
i don't think it's "have" to, more for youtube, but those who do surely enjoy it
Nice combination 😀
Parsnip soup with cumin and coriander. Nice rolls to dip in
Cake's not chocolate.
Dill goes with salmon and other fish
You could chiffonade the cabbage (shame it's not savoy) and cook it with butter, black pepper and nutmeg
Chiffonade?
@@BitOfMunch shiff-on-ard
A way of slicing. I can let you have a recipe if you want to know the other ingredients
@@Val-from-Leigh thanks but it's not something I'd do
Slice the parsnip long ways into 4 pieces ,roll in oil, salt, and pepper ,then bake, cabbage makes a good soup, dice up bacon,or ham, slice thinly shallots, dice parsnips, sauté together till a little soft, add thinly sliced cabbage, then water,if you have bullion chicken,or veg add that, then peel, and cut into cubes some potatoes, cook all together till the veg are soft, you can add chopped chives, and dill, also some double cream,or sour cream, with bread you have tea for several days. The cabbage could be used for coleslaw, though that sort of cabbage won’t be as crisp.Slice the cabbage, and shallots, make a dressing from mayonnaise, vinegar,a little sugar, maybe some mustard, and dill, hope this helps.Lovely bag you received.
Throw the dill in any noodles youre having, or soups, or salads. There healthy and nutritious and tasty.
Thanks, I'll try and remember that if I get dill in any bags in the future 😊
Make a soup with the veg. Very easy! Don’t put the dill in though. (I wouldn’t)
parboil like roasties then roast with potatoes.
Feed the veg to next door's rabbits and have the cake for dinner.
@morrisons I got 2 #twogoodtogobags from blackpool Preston post office last night from Morrisons and they was a load of crap! Never do it again, very disappointed 😔 I suspect the staff got to them first as the bags were very light no veg/fruit and it was full of junk food
yes we do get to the good stuff first ;)
@@girlsdrinkfeck lol 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Bin the veg lol 😂
🤣
Get a rabbit 🐇🐰
Brendan roasted rabbit with parsnip mash sounds good!
You can peel the parsnips chop them small pieces and cook them in a little bit of oil, add turmeric half teaspoon, half teaspoon cumin powder, half teaspoon coriander powder, half a chilly if you can take the heat, or less if you cant, add 50ml water after you have added the all the spices along with salt as needed. And then close the lid of the pan and cook till the parsnip softens usually 10 minutes, in the lowest setting of your hob or gas, check halfway if your parsnip are soft, or if they need a splash of hot water, add hot water if the curry looks dry halfway through, and continue cooking till they are done. Enjoy with warm rice.
The cake is 15quid
Díll ànd fish.
