Please use jack stands next time. Those blocks of wood had me nervous. Great video. Keep up the good work. Safety first.
Thank you so much for the great advice. You are absolutely right. I recently purchased Jack Stands. I am using it for my safety.
Thank you so much. You are absolutely right, safety first. I recently purchased jack and stand.
Food or jack stands what would you pick?
Thanks I have a 2009 Sentra and now I know how to change it at home, great video!
Think this video helped me figured out what might be wrong with my Sentra. Thanks!
Going to check out mine now. I have a 2011, been bugging me for a while now.
Tip: use a tap to clean the threads in the sub-frame :)
Good video ,much easier than that looks ,use some power tools next time, jack stands, muscle helps too
Thank you buddy this is a very good video
Your "secret technique" with 2 wrenches is no match for my triple wrench technique we used in combination with a short section of allen wrench to loosen a stubborn BMW transmission fill bolt. Haha, all kidding aside, thanks for the informative video!
Nice I need to do that same task and torque mount on a 07 nisssn blue bird sylphy and then check the other mounts
Breaker bar works even better w/ 18mm
have you got film how to replace other two mounts?
If you;re gonna use wood as a jack stand use a single piece of wood instead fo many and if only have many then nail them together so they dont slip. Also, hit that rusted screw with a nice wire brush before putting it back.
Thank you
I have the same problem on my 2008 Nissan Versa
REAL DIYAUTO SPIRIT! but be careful safty. Please c hock the rear wheel, hand brake of course. better use jack stand or some wood block stand.
Use a pair of jack stand and a impact rench
Never use a jack to support the car. Use a stack of books or magazines instead. If you don't have enough books, just go into the kitchen and grab some cans of food and stack them under the frame of the car. That works as well.
Buy a cheap set of rubberlike ramps and chock the rear wheels.
Sound like you just learn how to fixed a car
Que marca es mejor de soporte del motor lado derecho del sentra 2010 para comprarlo
Lol
Great video, thank you for the help!
you needed to jack up the engine a little bit and the bolt would have been easy to unscrew maybe next time you can try it.
Oh, that is might be the reason why the one of bolt takes time to take off. I will do that. Thanks for the advice. Blue Rider.
What's the torque for the mounts
@@berenicerodriguez9373 tight
80 ft lbs is good
@@berenicerodriguez9373 Tight!
That's awesome. Ty so much.
So helpful, thank you.
I am happy the video was helpful!!
this gentleman needs some lessons on making the car safe
Good 👍 job 👍
Good job
Hey would this cause a clunk when I brake and accelerate I changed everything else except for the mounts
yes, we had the exact same mount fail on the exact same car. An intermittent "clack" noise
did you identify the problem? im trying to determine the same thing, hitting the gas as smoothly as possible sometimes results ina clunk and jerk of car forward
@@JoeRycoVideosthat's exactly the same my 2010 sentra does, a clunk that move forward, I'm about to change the mount myself following this tutorial, thank you so much, I hope that will fix the problem.
@@carlostorres6334 did you change your mount? I have the same issue
@@plshelp2906Hey! Not yet, I've changed the front and back shocks absorbed suspensions and still have that clumped sound, I'm 100% sure it's the driver side motor mount which it's very difficult to change, I've changed once myself but in the summer time, it takes a lot of work, I purchased online in nissan parts about a year and half ago, I pay about $254 dollars for it, original parts, now I'm waiting for weather to get good to check it up again and replace it if that's the problem, ok salute!
I have a feel 2008 automatic from 20 to 40 speed it vibrates I stop accelerating and it speeds up as I try to align and it works normal will it be the gearbox or engine support?
bro you need some tools like a set of sockets breaker bar ratchet and a impact spanners don't cut it anymore
You are right brother. But at that time I had not enough money to purchase other tools. But I recently got a breaker bar rachet. So I could do better in the future projects. Thanks your comment.
Thanks for your support anyways! I truly appreciate this video
Does this mount fit Nissan Note 1.2 2014 E12
Were can i buy new engine mounts for nissan micra 2007?
Nm?
Can you please tell me the name of the replacement screws ASAP please.
I am. It sure the name of the bolt to holding the mount. But you can ask local auto shops!
This is a lot harder then it seems. Haha 2 hours later still in the process of removing one of the two bolts
Hey Cassandra, thanks for watching my video. Were you able to remove the bolt? I know those bolts are so hard to remove. I had a hard time to deal with one bolt it was so very rusty. but hey, we saved some money!!

Next time be safe and what the torch and size of bolts
18mm
Is this the front or rear mount?
This is front mount
✌👌
What is the name of that piece?
Is that why my car moves a lot in potholes?
I'm sorry my English is very bad
Hey don't worry my friend, my English is bad too. I am still studying. Anyway, the piece I replaced was called "Engine Mount". If there is no mount then, your car will shake when you put gas. Hopefuly that is answered your question. let me know if you have more questions.
If your car is going up and down on potholes check your suspension. Shocks and struts.
Torque strut/ rod (rear)
@@nightynine4061 a question for you and hope you can help, my sentra makes a noise when I go over speed bumps, any idea what it may be?
@@wolftripplex3818 check the stabalising bar mounts or could be your struts
It’s not so difficult. Why mechanics wants to charge a small fortune for this?
