@@katherineknapp6604 I want to meet him. I bought a "Hamiltome" and Gmorning Gnite just to read his brilliance. From what people say he's as sweet as he appears in interviews. And, he's so cute. Little cinnamon roll
You know you've watched way too many interviews with Lin-Manuel Miranda when you roll your eyes at the question "So what's next for you?" They ask him that every, single, time.
artkid you know you've watched way too many interviews with Lin-Manuel Miranda when they ask him to freestyle and you can see it in his eyes, "here we go again."
He is so ridiculously brilliant that my mind is blown every time I hear him speak. And his family is from PR so I relate and my fangirling takes a new level. And he's attractive, lol.
Agreed! I have found my STRONG passion for theatre (and Lin being my hero) by just finding out about "Hamilton". It is the BEST piece of art ever, in MY opinion. Lol.
7:20 "Oh my God. Hamilton lived 3 lifetimes. what am i doing with my life" THIS IS LIN SAYING THIS. If Lin thinks he's not doing enough than wow i may as well be the personification of a dirt speck. I gotta step up my game •-•'
I need to enter into the lottery. I need to win the lottery. I must see this live. I must see this man. I must see this musical. I must, I must, I must.
It is clear that had you not become the genius of Broadway, you would have made a great teacher! Every time I watch an interview with you I am riveted to your answers because you teach me something about history, current culture, music history, theatre, business and more.. Thank you!
I would like to formally thank Lin for all my future tests I will ace because of "Hamilton", and I have to write a research paper on American History and it can be about a person in history. I'm doing Alexander Hamilton.🤣🤣
"West Side Story is a total masterpiece" ... that it is, and I greatly appreciate him saying that. It's so good to realize the trails that were blazed before you. When I first listened to this show's score, I felt there were a number of things in common between the two. Thank you so much, Lin, for taking the time to create another "total masterpiece" which is Hamilton. We are all in your debt because we love it so much.
I had NO idea he was writing for Moana! I mean jeez, I was excited for it before but... holy cow I CANNOT wait for November! I only discovered Hamilton in September, but I fell in love with it almost instantly and as a acting student all I could think was "I wish I wasn't white so I had a hope in Hell of being in that show someday..." THAT is impressive writing, I think, and Lin is an absolute genius with his words.
I just found Hamilton on July 5, 2018. Going to see the show at The Benedum theater in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on Sunday, January 27, 2019. I’m ecstatic 🤗
The ADMIRATION I have for this man, also his wife is a literal goddess Also, he is awesome at interviews, somehow he keeps talking but its never boring and never seems to go off of what they were talking about?
+Playgrounders If you stalk his Instagram, the Rock (who is gonna be voicing one of the characters in Moana) posted something about how stoked he was to get to work with Lin a couple months ago.
why is he so attractive and brilliant and sweet i don't understand
Onyx Generations i honestly have no clue but im not complaining.
Right!?

I'm not sorry
But Lin is Non-Stop.
Well, he just didn't wanna LOSE HIS SHOT
You mean he was not throwing away his shot?

he's so mesmerizing and smart.
This entire interview is so incredibly heartening.

I watched an episode of "Ask a Star" and it mentioned he did teach 7th grade for a time. ;)
He met Daveed Diggs when they were both booked to substitute teach the same class.

Seriously a wonderful man and role model, Lin is amazing in so many ways, he deserves the best in life.
As he was talking about the period costumes I thought about when I wore my baseball cap with my Oklahoma costume.
When she asked Lin-Manuel Miranda how he made a great musical; he should have said he was "Non-Stop".
i want a movie of hamilton with the same characters as the musical
or at least a movie about LIn's life and Lin acting

There are white people in the show
The king is white
Yeah guys, white back up dancers. and the king (as his title suggests) is a guy. You'll notice I'm a girl... See the problem?
I think they were considering gender blind casting in the future
+Olivia McDonagh well Lin has said he's all for the idea of casting any gender as any role
I have such a crush on this guy.
Me too
Same.
who doesn't
0 dislikes god damn, first time I've ever seen that
YeetOS one disliked it....😔😠😶

Oskar Eustis from the Public Theatre said it best, "Lin-Manuel is in the class of Shakespeare." LMM is a gem.
He is even with The Bard, maybe even slightly ahead of Shakesphere, which says A LOT about how talented he is. ;)
@@youtubingjaguar5082 He's a diamond in a rough, a shiny piece of coal~
