I was OBSESSED with Michael! Saw INXS play at Wembley when I was 16, think I became a woman that night, he was the sexiest thing I'd ever seen. Such a tragic end to an extraordinary life.

I’ve seen the doco - loved loved loved it , absolutely heartbreaking 🙏 so well made 🙌
I saw INXS perform many times in the early eighties in small Sydney pubs and he was mesmerising 🥰
What a tragic loss it was for his family, friends, fans but especially his daughter 😢

INXS provided the soundtrack to my youth and I followed them from the early eighties in Australia when they toured the local pubs in Sydney. I don't think I have ever seen another artist who could command a stage the way Michael did - he was literally sex on legs. Can't wait to see this and I'm glad it has been done by Richard Lowenstein who I know will have done him justice. He will never be forgotten X

I was living in Sydney when he died not far from where I lived, I passed by the funeral as it was finishing. It was such a huge shock for everyone. I re-watched an interview with Paula Yates recently and it made me question her version of their relationship. Also, strangely I suffered a head injury a few weeks before I moved to Australia - I was punched and knocked out - and feel that it did change me, but it is difficult to be objective about it yourself and I was then living with people who didn't know me well, although one did say 'Where has the old Clare gone?'. Looking forward to the documentary.

Mark incredible that you got to film Michael so close to his untimely death, yet at the peak of his life. Michael was as intriguing a person as his music was amazing. At the time and then following Paula’s death, I was obsessed with watching RUclips about them as it was such a tragic love story. I have read recently about Tiger-lily not having any access to her dads money, so the story goes on. Had no idea there was an up coming new docu so a big thank you to Popcorn Junkies for this, I will definitely be watching 👍💕

There was a documentary the other year called the last rock star but apparently this is better cos its had the green light from Tiger and others. The last one was very uncomfortable it even had the last lyrics /note left in his hotel room where he was found it was very dark. This one I think is made by a director friend of Michael.

"The knock on the head" caused a TBI and PTSD. Life-changing. Very difficult to live with. People need to know more about these things. They affect everything about you. Same happened to me when an old man with a suspended license who "just wanted some Taco Bell" ran me down with his pick-up truck. I was literally pinned under his tires and he didn't even know. It's been over 6 years and I'm still not fully recovered. It may never happen. This woman is too nonchalant about it.

Here in Australia Michael hutchence was an Australian icon here & always will remain! The stories I've heard that night Michael was out drinking with his girlfriend they grabbed something to eat as they crossed the road Michael was almost hit by the taxi, he was acting like a tool wouldn't let the taxi go by, the taxi driver got out of his car & he hit Michael, michael hit his head on the road & that pretty much changed michael's life after that, his personality totally change, became more aggressive towards the other band members & friends!

From what I’ve read, Michael had changed after the taxi driver pushed him & made him fall and hit his head on a curb, he became very agitated often, but that became a bit better as time went on. The coroner noted that he had two good sized lesions in the frontal lobe area of his brain. What was not a good mix was the mix of alcohol, prescription drugs and cocaine. Can’t imagine what this alone would do if you already had brain damage. He was also dealing with the issues with Paula and her ongoing custody battle with her ex, and worried about not being able to see Tiger again.

INXS were rated the biggest band in the world for a good while. Hutch and Bono became good mates , and they seemed to morph into each other in how they looked. I have seen INXS 6 times in concert and each show never disappointed. My top 3 are them , The Angels and ACDC.

This documentary looks amazing. I went on a total Michael Hutchinson INEX binge for about 2/3 months. Watched everything! I was not a big fan, watching them on MTV In the 80's was fun. But now that I am old I find his life with women and Paula very interesting. I too was sexually released from a very sexy boyfriend/ lover when I was I my 20's. I find the same mannerisms in Michael. 👍💖🤔😄

It's probably already been said but he was blindsided with a vicious running punch to the head by a taxi driver he hit his head so hard on the cobbled kirb it knocked him unconscious and bleeding from his ears nose and mouth his girlfriend super model Helena Christensen thought he was dead!! But he'd received massive head trauma resulting in Brain damage.. he was never the same again...

Seemingly Michael was clowning around in the middle of the road and wouldn’t move. Thats why the taxi driver became irate and hit him. He lost his sense of taste and smell. Which plunged him into depression. He was very elegant and beautiful. Never know how he really died. Paula was convinced it wasn’t suicide. May they rest in peace. 💙💙
