Hey Brandon I’m currently a sophomore At OHS, is blue devils a college marching band if so, I’m gonna hopefully audition for them one day to join yall, sadly, I won’t be able to play “the romantics” that one is my favorite all time piece ever, the beginning is just so powerful and awesome then it gets relaxing and very romantic in like the middle-end, I honestly love the blue devils, their band is extremely good, for my senior year I’m going to perform with Hebron HS. Brandon, i wish you the best future in marching band, I just love it!!! ❤
Wow, you are amazing at this, man! I’ve been playing trumpet for over 5 years now and I just can’t really improve my range above a high c, no matter how much I try. And even when I am able to reach somewhat high notes, I can’t maintain it for long since my chops get very fatigued. I don’t know what to do to improve even though I practice nearly every day.
I think I night know what you need. I had a friend how just couldn't hit a high d consistently and he thought it was his fault. After messing around with mouthpieces his range went up to a double f.. There's a chance it's your mouthpiece making it harder for you.

@@ryanl8931 a lot of the huge pros use regular 3c mouthpieces. A shallow mouthpiece may help, but it’s better to do it on a normal one first, so you can get louder and clearer on the lead pieces
The amount of skill required to do this and hit those high notes at the beginning is wild

Lots of vitamin E and lip therapy! Staff incorporated it a lot into our warm ups to help keep our faces fresh
