Bless you Fuzzy, another "Top Video." I could hear the excitement build up as you re-lived your road trip, long live your road trips for many more years.
They 411 Himalayan that is shown in this video has been discontinued at the end of 2023. The new Himalayan 450 hasn’t been released in the states as of yet. The Scram 411 was only made for a year or so and it’s also discontinued.
@@thegreenman2030 If the Indian auto websites are anything to go by, the 411 air/oil cooled engine has been developed into a larger bore 440 version (not the 450 Sherpa water cooled engine), and it will be put into a new Scram 440 within the year, as a cheaper alternative to the 450s. 350cc, 450cc (Sherpa), and 650cc scrambler models are also on the cards.
Couple of buddies have Himmies.... one has 25000 miles... Great bike. I have the 650 Interceptor.... in Ravishing Red... last summer solo rip to the Ozark's from the Twin Cities... nearly 2000 miles. This shows you do not need a big bore.. multifil cylinder unit .... aka $$$$$ .... these mid sized and small bore machines are more then up to the job and the money you save will cover adventures for years..... :)
Love my Himalayan . There are a few 2023 Himalayan left at my local dealer in decatur Alabama . My friend has one with just over 500 miles on it , he may sell . He has a farm a d no time to ride it , a 2022 Himalayan .
What a great adventure on a bike that has become my all-time favorite also. I don't think I could part with it for the new model unless it starts giving me problems. Based on the miles you've logged, that will be a long time from now for me.
How’s the headlight on the Himmi? Running a stock unit and/or bulb? BTW, you called it a 2001 Himalayan in your summary about whether to take the Himmi or Super Meteor to the Pig Tail. Pretty sure you meant 2021. Enjoyed your trip video and the recap. Top off the gas, oil/adjust that chain and head out. 😎
About that headlight on the Himalayan...I've got the stock bulb in mine and it works like crap. I rarely ride at night but still should have replace it years ago. Sorry about that 2001 thing...lol. You're right, 2021. Already have the next ride planned. Wahoo!

Planning the next one now. Do I leave tomorrow morning or Sunday morning? Wahoo!
I’m starting to think that smaller adventure bikes are the way to travel. And I am really looking forward to the new Himalayan.
I'm all in on these 400+cc ADV's. Can't tell you how much fun I've had on this one. Wahoo!
On2Wheels RUclips completed a 1k iron but challenge in Arizona. Glad you had a good time.
Dang, this would be a slow bike for an Iron Butt. I'm gonna have to look that one up. Thanks! Wahoo
Checking in at the local RE dealer, they had a couple Scrams but they can't keep the Himalayan in stock. Apparently they are wicked popular.

Check with Jeremy at Baxtercycle.com He might have a few left. Love this bike. Wahoo!
