For decades, Stan Bush has been the reigning king of motivational rock, best known for his hits like "The Touch" and "Never Surrender." Even today, his sound evokes nostalgic feelings for the decade that saw him rise to fame - The Eighties.
Stan couldn't write a bad or mediocre song if his life depended on it. He just keeps writing one awesome song after another. Please don't ever retire.
I have thought this so many times recently, I've gone through almost his entire catalogue and there isn't a bad song in the bunch. Stan Bush is a timeless legend of rock and I hope he keeps on daring and dreaming!
He is a true Legend.
I want to disagree with this statement because every rock, every band has those songs, however, I can't. Maybe this is because I grew up with him and Transformers.... LOL
It's a crime against humanity that his inspiration isn't known by the mainstream
Stan is the type of guy where he just writes hopeful optimistic songs and makes you feel powerful when you listen to them. And every time I hear Stan Bush song it takes me back to the 80s so I appreciate you Stan🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥

Stan Bush is really the most underrated musician of the 80's. Did write so many good movie soundtracks.. and back in the 80's, movies as well as TV shows and even cartoons did have great music and soundtracks unlike today where most is crap with few exceptions. It is a pity that Stan isn't that famous as he deserves

My dad was/is my everything as a kid, my dad took me to see Transformers right before he had to move because of the divorce. When Prime died in the movie it resonated with me in a profound way. Hearing "Dare", and "You got the Touch" moves me in ways I can't explain. I love your music, keep Rocking!
This is what I love about Stan Bush, this man not only has the best Power Ballads of the 80's but his current music has so much heart of the 80's. Keep Rockin Stan!

Stan Bush is a musical god. I had the pleasure of meeting the man at a Transformers convention in 1997 only knowing a few of his songs from the Transformers movie and Bloodsport. He was selling his CDs at a table and I got to talk to him for a little while. Nicest guy you could ever want to meet. Saw him and Vince DiCola in concert that same weekend performing the Transformers songs as well as a whole bunch of his solo songs that, at that point, I had never heard before. I went home, listened to all the CDs I had bought and instantly fell in love with his music. I can't think of one single song I would turn off because I didn't like it.....he is just that damn good. It's a pity that he didn't get the recognition and airplay he deserved on the radio and MTV but now with places like RUclips, who needs those outlets. Keep on rocking, Stan. :-)

Stan not sure if you read all the comments but your right. Cant stop this feeling of the 80s. For us 80s generation we will never forget how this decade was and always will be the best ever. When friends actually rode bikes instead of chatting on xbox or playstation. When we had the best music, sitcoms, cartoons, toys, best PSAs, best movies, best in everything. Because of this song I relive the good times. A decade where my memory always knows. Please if your a 80s fan please let me know what you miss the most.
The Touch is amazing, Dare is inspiring, but this song is the nostalgia blast I was craving. I wasn't even alive back then and I feel it.

Agreed. I like stuff by Dawes (minimal airplay for a newish band putting out quality material lately), with a retro bent, but this blows away that new song by Richard Marx whose new song reeks of sell out. Maybe he and political Bon Jovi needs to hear this song???

Absolutely amazing track from a genuine AOR legend....I played this track on my UK radio show Raised ON Rock! a few weeks ago and just as I hoped listeners went bonkers for it....This track deserves to be all over the radio.....
Whenever I need a boost, either mentally or physically, I listen to his music. Especially with the way things are going now a great song can be all you need to pick you and Stan Bush makes only great songs.

I first heard of you through your songs “On My Own and “Fight to Survive” in the 1988 film Bloodsport. I am so glad you are still churning out music. And this song somewhat sums up my sentiments about 1980s rock music. And I only say somewhat because I was born in 1990.
Stan Bush is the greatest I know who's keeping the 80's legacy alive. His earlier song "The Touch" tells it all that he still has the The Touch of the 80's. Rock on Stan!

What I love about Stan's music is his singing voice seems to have barely changed since The Touch and Dare from Transformers the Movie. Still rocking on strong!

Stan, as a Gen Z'er, I agree with you--Unfortunately, a lot of the chart toppers have been overprocessed EDM shit (all of which sounds copied-and-pasted, as well as littered with machine noises), while new artists who sound like you have not reached the same stardom you did...

Stan Bush does what modern artist don't. He sings! He doesn't do this pop, or half neo funk rock. He does HERO ROCK! He brings the noise. This song while touching back to another magical era lost to us by time is still has so much strength that modern or more wildly artists lack. Please Stan never retire, never say die, you have a heart of a hero inside!
