    Ruud should definitely be up here. He got injured in his Rome loss, and has been a top 3-5 contender on clay otherwise.

    I don't understand how shelton is put there where is Casper Ruud

    Lmfao, putting Shelton on this list is insane 😂 he’s not even the American favourite

      That's how I felt seeing Nadal. Literally Zero chance of winning the whole thing 😂

    Shelton on this list while fritz is not is maximum random.

    Since 2006 after nadals first Roland garros
    This is the most wide open
    With top players under the question mark of injury

    Casper Ruud is a dark horse at RG.

    • @user-iy8tp7vw3x
      @user-iy8tp7vw3x 8 дней назад

      He can't be dark horse cause he is proven clay courter. 2 finals there, dark horse can be someone like Tabilo...never did big but might.

    Ruud is so disrespected. He is gonna be there in quarter. Diffiucult to beat in 5

  • @jasongillis1336

    Casper Ruud and Stephanos Tsisipas based on current year clay results. Gonna be tough to beat at RG.

  • @zjzr08
    @zjzr08 16 дней назад +1

    Before Nadal dominated RG actually is one of the more open Slams in the men's side (and almost always open in the women's side) - the Top 3 favorites are injured and Sinner is unlikely to play and just like Madrid or Rome opportunities abound and we may get someone ranked between #4-#12 realistically winning Roland Garros this year IMo.

    If Rafa plays any seeded top 10 or 20 guys in the first round, he'll lose. No chance in best of 5

    i mean less pressure on Rude with him being a "dark horse"

    This convo was ridiculous - Casper Ruud is already up there next to Zverev in betting odds. Why is Ben Shelton in the video? What's weird is that the top 4 in betting odds will not have won a single clay court title going into RG. Madrid is not a good indicator of form on slow clay and Rublev also benefitted from all the injuries - he's still a danger at RG but not a top contender. Tsitsipas looking good for RG!

  • @gmoad23
    @gmoad23 18 дней назад +2

    Including Shelton and not Ruud? A joke!

  • @skabbaraju1
    @skabbaraju1 11 дней назад +1

    I like Andy but these folks saying that there are 10-15 people that could win it is a little extra. If Carlos, sinner don't play well then I'd give Zverev and Ruud or Novak a chance that's it. If Rafa plays a top 10 seed in rd 1, he is done.

      American blindness...he is hard court player good at best

    Rafa has protected ranking, he'll be seeded 9th

    • @luffytarun
      @luffytarun 19 дней назад +4

      Protected rankings don't give you seed. He gets an entry and that's it.

    Why is Ben up the most like to win?

  • @909lena5
    @909lena5 19 дней назад +1

    @jennes3200 "Lmfao, putting Shelton on this list is insane he’s not even the American favourite".---But Taylor Fritz is not the American favorite, if that's what you're suggesting. Ben Shelton hasn't been hanging around for YEARS as a journeyman. I say that as a fan of Taylor's for years and years. Journeyman in sports is 'a sports player who is reliable but not outstanding'.

    Unfortunately in this state nadal can't be in the top 10 favourite. Mediocre serve, mediocre return struggling against big servers, simply too many things to improve in a very short time, not to mention a very tough draw..
