Just a little tip: Unless you want to get stuck every single time you go off-roading, then never use All terrain tires. They are only meant for very light off roading, not romping around in mudpits. If you want to do serious off roading then use mud terrain tires with an agressive tread pattern.
From a fellow JK owner to another, I have mad some mistakes in my days of mudding but I have been told by other Jeepers that you don't go slow through mud, we are light enough to just gun it through, so next time just go for it.
I got a question for all you people .. because I've noticed nasty comments on other jeep vids and was just wondering. Why is it people bash others that spend the money and buy a new jeep .. dress it up with all the parts and only mildly off road with it? My friends bug me because i lifted mine 2.5" put 33x12.5 m/t on new rock rails, bumpers, led lights but only mildly off road with it because I don't want to waste the 40 grand and wreck it in waste high mud holes. Is it bad that i bought a jeep primarily for the rugged awesome looks of it, and the fact that in the summer i can drive around with the top and doors off??? I drove from northern manitoba to hollywood california last year with the top down most of the way and keep thinking that this jeep is the best thing I've ever bought! o|||||||o
Just an FYI those are MT's... Hankook Dynapro MT to be exact, look em up, one of the BEST MT's on the market. Everyone starts somewhere... you'd be wise to remember that.
The point of off roading is having fun. We all learn from our mistakes. I love off roading! If you really want to have fun, get a Deuce! Yeah they are slow but you can make some ruts that not even most jeeps can even get into before getting stuck! But if you get that thing stuck, then you are stuck!
Can not be a COD, it should have AEV front & rear bumpers along with a heat reduction hood. Get with a local group to learn to wheel. Air down the tires, keep it in 4lo and don't stop. If it's a Rubi, it has plenty of skids and you are not going to break anything climbing out of a small mud hole
Looks good bro...keep adventuring an getting better, look into getting toyo mt's next they are wicked off road tires for the terrain I go through, try'm out
Understandable! I would suggest bit more aggressive tires (good mudders) and also, looked like your tires were fully inflated. Bring em down at least to 10/12 psi. I wouldn't go lower without beadlocks. Cool toy!
Is it just me or are those street tires? Don't the MW3s come with BFG MT KM2s? If so why would you go with a less aggressive tire? And why would you put that decal on the hood considering your Jeep IS a Rubicon with all the little decals?
Yeah I agree that if you guys were to accelerate more . l would've done the same thing you done is use the winch . Why tear up your ride when you don't have to . Unless you are some competition trying to earn money or points . So I think you do the right thing . Take care guys .
I'm just getting into the jeep world and I want to update from my stock A/T tires on my YJ, what tires do you guys suggest? This is my daily driver as well as some mild off roading, I don't do much rock climbing yet but snow and sand is where I mostly go, any suggestions?
Dude! I'm glad you had a winch! You do know that if someone who had experience with a jeep jk sport model with the same lift and tires would not have been stuck right!? Remember momentum is your friend! To slow bro, and stop stopping the jeep in the middle of your ride so much! A troll is gonna eat you up if they see this display of jeepness!
Here is my opinion you guys . for muddying you want a tire with wide gaps in the tread design . Think of the old war jeeps . Skinny aggressive treaded tires will dig in and Grab . Smoother wider tires will just spin and not Dig in. just an opinion . talk to you soon .
I wish I had the equipment to make videos of members of our family driving in the back country. Our son can put most of the "big dogs" (people who spend $9,000 on aftermarket parts) to shame. (PS He is now the proud owner of a lifted Grand Cherokee.)
Just goes to show you that you can spend all the money in the world to put "Rubicon This" but you can get stuck anywhere if you underestimate obstacles.
I'm all for people starting somewhere, I certainly did, but misrepresenting what you are or what you have is ridiculous. There is absolutely nothing wrong with buying what you can afford and building it as you go.I admit I was wrong about the tires after a closer look but he still is saying he has something that he does not. When you misrepresent what you have or use, it turns into a dangerous situation on the trail when others are wheeling with you. You would be wise to remember that.....
JRESHOW- haha I bet, and thats cool, that's what it's really about, not tryin to be george of the jungle and shit, just havin fun with friends or solo and bein out enjoying the outdoors :)
Yeah I hear you , you know what I'm talking about them parts aren't cheap ! I own two trucks and three cars so I know what it cost to keep them going . I am a backyard mechanic . Take care I got to get some sleep before work . Check out my channel ! And I'll get back to you this weekend okay . Keep throwing the mud !
Its OK he is just jealous i have a yj and beat on her, but i also have a lifted 09 GC with hemi with 33s and lifted and i baby it off road couldn't imagine hurting her.
HAHAH @ Rubicon This logo. 1) Maybe if you had a Rubicon you wouldn't of got stuck in that mud hole. 2) Why is there such a Jeep called Black Ops edition when there is not one jeep you can drive in the COD games? Call it Battlefield Edition!
if u have a winch just use it body, good way to get over that mud pit,. an other jeep without locker can be hard to pull it out with an other car using a strap. hahahaha afte see u video i need a winch LOL
Crap, I mean look at all the h8ters. I have been wheeling for 20 years and yes I know momentum would have gotten him out but I mean come on... Instead of constructive criticism all we can tell the guys is he is a piece of crap and he is driving junk. Some guys are stuck in high school I guess. Ohh well nice jeep. I would love to have it! Also keep up with the four wheeling and you'll keep getting better. As long as you had fun that is really all that matters.
Donny Brader yes! I didn't understand why the hell he kept going forward a few inches and stop! It's not only the tires but also a big part of it was the driver.
Just a little tip: Unless you want to get stuck every single time you go off-roading, then never use All terrain tires. They are only meant for very light off roading, not romping around in mudpits.

i totally agree they look good but suck off roading they just spin no traction at all
those actually are mud tires but i agree with you and those tires suck my buddy has them in 35s on hid duramax
From a fellow JK owner to another, I have mad some mistakes in my days of mudding but I have been told by other Jeepers that you don't go slow through mud, we are light enough to just gun it through, so next time just go for it.
You are a much braver off roader than I am. I hate messy mud and the uncertainty of how deep pits are. Loved the video angles you took.
The greatest thing ever invented for Jeep this is a winch , hey I got to get my 68 Dodge off-road ready . Someday hopefully .
Just in case you guys were wondering. .. The gas pedal is on the right :)
Cool video man. I don't understand all the negative feedback??? Looked like you had FUN and that's what matters.
Thanks ;) we always do!
It's not negative it's helpful information. The tires suck, he could learn how to use the gas a little more when he is mudding.
I just have to applaud JeepFixer and Commando.... I couldn't have said it any better myself... Well said sirs...

It is the best thing that you ever bought, and I can agree with why you bought it and the enjoyment it brings. Its a Jeep thing ;-)
Just an FYI those are MT's... Hankook Dynapro MT to be exact, look em up, one of the BEST MT's on the market. Everyone starts somewhere... you'd be wise to remember that.
I thought you guys were going to get out of that one ! Hey , watch out for mosquitoes ! Lol . Great video thanks
LOL so many people don't know anything about Jeep Wranglers ... Nice ride dude!
The point of off roading is having fun. We all learn from our mistakes. I love off roading! If you really want to have fun, get a Deuce! nice BRAND NEW jeep, well done.
The 2012's come with 285hp stock Pentastar V6, optional 5spd auto from Mercedes Benz.
Because. Have you gotten a good set of m/t's yet?
Looks good bro...keep adventuring an getting better, look into getting toyo mt's next they are wicked off road tires for the terrain I go through, try'm out
Keep up the 4x4 vid's man every one has to learn. Fuck the haters you keep having fun in the mud.
Dude, if you get it moving keep it moving - don't stop then try to start off again. Momentum is your friend.
Understandable!
I would suggest bit more aggressive tires (good mudders) and also, looked like your tires were fully inflated. Bring em down at least to 10/12 psi. I wouldn't go lower without beadlocks.
Cool toy!
ter-e-an LOL. 3:40. It's called ter-'rain. Insane Terrain.
Is it just me or are those street tires? Don't the MW3s come with BFG MT KM2s? If so why would you go with a less aggressive tire? And why would you put that decal on the hood considering your Jeep IS a Rubicon with all the little decals?
Do mudds provide that much more traction than AT's? And how much worse does your MPG's get with mudds? About the same as AT's? Thnx
"Rubicon This."
...Rubicon what? Offroad tires are your friend. ;)
Hahah agreed
Might have a MW3 badge, but the bumpers and hood aren't right. Did you buy it used? Anybody can read get.
Cool vid thanks for sharing! Love the jeep!
Yeah I agree that if you guys were to accelerate more . l would've done the same thing you done is use the winch . Why tear up your ride when you don't have to . Unless you are some competition trying to earn money or points . So I think you do the right thing . Take care guys .
Sometimes taking the high road is better than low road. Especially when the low road is full of water.
I hope they have axle tube seals.
Try sawing on the wheel back forth.
I'm just getting into the jeep world and I want to update from my stock A/T tires on my YJ, what tires do you guys suggest? This is my daily driver as well as some mild off roading, I don't do much rock climbing yet but snow and sand is where I mostly go, any suggestions?
I would think airing down to 12-15 would really help in that stuff
Dude! I'm glad you had a winch! You do know that if someone who had experience with a jeep jk sport model with the same lift and tires would not have been stuck right!? A little more throttle would have = no winch. Driver needs a bit more off-road experience.
Confused by your hood decal "Rubicon This"... even the 2011 COD was a Rubicon with extra decals.
The MW3 Jeep IS a Rubicon with the extras.
when you off road and you get the jeep moving DONT STOP keep on the gas and you would not have to use the winch just a tip for you.
Bury it to the frame rails! I like your slicks…… Rubicon that!
cant really tell from the video they look like road tyres.
not talking crap about your off roading.. but whenever im in a mud hole i dont stop till it sounds expensive.
Mud tyre's, select low ratio 4WD, low revs, easy!
Dude get some mud tires.......or a different driver lol
Nice Off-road
It looks like you have up half way out.
I wish I had the equipment to make videos of members of our family driving in the back country. Our son can put most of the "big dogs" (people who spend $9,000 on aftermarket parts) to shame. (PS He is now the proud owner of a lifted Grand Cherokee.)
All the mw edition is a Rubicon with more stickers, a tire cover and a $15k higher price tag... i dont get it...
But i do like your jeep!
they where never seen again. some say they live off the land now, feeding off of other jeep owners that got lost. but thats just a story.
Just goes to show you that you can spend all the money in the world to put "Rubicon This" but you can get stuck anywhere if you underestimate obstacles.
great video. thanks for sharing.
You need better off road tires for you to not get "stuck" in the first place.
rubicon this I guess not
I'm all for people starting somewhere, I certainly did, but misrepresenting what you are or what you have is ridiculous. im not trying to be negative but dude you could have easly made that out of it. that jeep can handle anything "you" could throw at it...
the first time he got stuck he should've had his friend bounce on the back
I agree with PixelShock.. you really need a set... too much for you !!!!!!!
Well said buddy
Three words , Tires, Tires, Tires ... your jeep was capable, you just needed the right tires trust me on this.
Dude if you just kept on it you had it
This isn't the Black Ops Edition. The Black Ops Edition is more lifted.
The guy driving needs to grow a set, it's a jeep not a Prius! You can do it!!!
you do not have the tire for it
Black Ops Ed was a 2011, 2012 had the Modern Warfare 3 Ed
Maybe get some mud tires if Ya wanna hit mud, jeeps will go anywhere but you need the tires and ride height to do it lol
+junior morrison I know this is almost a year old but that's exactly what I was thinking
Keep throwing the mud !
i think you confused your jeep with a prius
why does it matter a jeep is a jeep except for a liberty
I bet he was on his brakes the whole time during that decline.
I don't like mudding. Too expensive when shit breaks and mud gets everywhere and destroys everything.
wrong tyres for that !
just let some air out of those rock hard tires could probably get through it in 2wd
illinois plates usually mean more money than brains....
i guess having stickers doesn't help you get out of mud....
ok you try and go through this with your camaro and let us know what happens
It's got the COD badge
Its OK he is just jealous i have a yj and beat on her, but i also have a lifted 09 GC with hemi with 33s and lifted and i baby it off road couldn't imagine hurting her.
HAHAH @ Rubicon This logo. 1) Maybe if you had a Rubicon you wouldn't of got stuck in that mud hole. 2) Why is there such a Jeep called Black Ops edition when there is not one jeep you can drive in the COD games? Call it Battlefield Edition!
yes guy
One of the many problems is the shitty tire choice and open diff.
Kit e strativ.. t accatv nu gommon e faciv apprim.. si scttat l terris ind au fang
6. No Spare Tire...
if u have a winch just use it body, good way to get over that mud pit,. an other jeep without locker can be hard to pull it out with an other car using a strap. hahahaha afte see u video i need a winch LOL
Yeah..... Cuz at 30k+ I totally want mud on it
Crap, I mean look at all the h8ters.
And Compass lol!
I'd rather go through it in my '99 Wrangler.
i can tell its not a black ops wrangler just by the hood...
Dang man.. drive it like a jeep not a mini van.
This video is proof that you can have a great rig but with shitty tires you might as well be fish out of water when you go off road.
or he could have just floored it
Donny Brader yes! I didn't understand why the hell he kept going forward a few inches and stop! It's not only the tires but also a big part of it was the driver.
driver mod wow
Rather way its a sick jeep
rubicon woulda made it through
that is not a black ops edition
tires f&*k everyone just need tires and have fun
Not the best driver, but fun nonetheless eh.
should have named this how to get stuck in a nice jeep....
Driver needs a little more experience...
let of the gas = get stuck
NO DRIVER INSIDE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
