    Fighter jets, helicopter, sheep, rainbows, wind, some really nice shots, some unlucky putts, great attitude….what’s not to love about this video. Enjoyable viewing over a hot tea here in Canada. Cheers/way to go buddy!

    Hats off to you James! Ive been watching you for a couple of years now. Sometimes I put your videos on because they are somehow soothing to me in the background. As an avid golfer myself I applaud your dedication! Cheers from Texas!

    Always love the videos! I feel like when it's heavy wind or the insane amount of noise from the airport (we have one near us) - feel free to do voice over. I love your analysis over each shot. Voice over >> wind/choppers.

    Another round of very good golf James, your putting was excellent, the putt on the 10th hole was awesome. You did well to concentrate with all that distraction. Keep the content coming, do you have a new camera? The definition is superb and your videos are very well edited, just the right length.

    I'm 50 and I carry. To be honest I find that carrying is less physical effort than a trolley on anything more than a flat course, any topography and I'm carrying for sure, it's just less effort and also I don't have to zig zag around greens or walk extra distance because of trolleys not being allowed near greens usually. I build club holding toppers for my bags that hold the clubs in silence when I carry rather than rattling like a bag of spanners.

    • @robertcourt8593
      @robertcourt8593 4 часа назад +1

      I used to caryy but suffered back and hip problems on the back 9. Since I started pushing a trolley I've not had any issues.

    • @LeeHobbies
      @LeeHobbies 4 часа назад +1

      @@robertcourt8593 my trolley is a pull trolley and I think the twisting it makes me do is problematic, I'd think that push trolleys would be better on the body. Carrying suits me anyway, I certainly have to walk less distance overall, especially around greens. Whatever it takes to keep us golfing hey Robert, all the best :]

    • @robertcourt8593
      @robertcourt8593 3 часа назад

      @@LeeHobbiesyeah, I avoided trolleys for years because I'd only ever tried pulling.
      Be lucky mate.

    Nice round James. To answer your question, I’ve travelled across the River Tamar into Devon and played Tavistock Golf Club a couple of times, where there are plenty of sheep and the famous Dartmoor ponies. A local rule gives free relief from droppings, so that’s ok, but it’s almost impossible to avoid picking up loads of droppings on shoes and trolley wheels - difficult to clean off and even when shoes and wheels are bagged up, it still makes for a smelly trip back to Cornwall ! See you on the next one. ⛳️🐑🏌🏼‍♂️

    • @chr970
      @chr970 4 часа назад +1

      I like your description, sounds like a neat place to go. Question, you mentioned the river, and someone else said fishing……. do you fish, and what kind? I’m a Canadian, in Canada,…just curious ,…and about the area.

    • @PadsDad
      @PadsDad 4 часа назад

      @ Hi there - Tavistock is a lovely heathland course and it’s a challenge, especially when the wind blows as it’s quite open up on Dartmoor. The river Tamar forms a natural border between most of Cornwall and Devon, the two most southwestern counties in England. I don’t fish as golf takes most of my free time, but most of the fishing in these parts is sea fishing either from small boats and the shore. Both counties also have commercial fishing fleets, but nowhere near the scale that they used to be.

    • @chr970
      @chr970 4 часа назад +1

      @@PadsDad thanks for the reply. Sounds like a nice area for sure. I don’t fish as much as I used to, but here in Nova Scotia we have some excellent salmon rivers ( and some incredible golf courses too!). I met a couple lads from Scotland few years ago who came over to fish. They were astounded by how cheap it was for a salmon license for an out of province guest, said the season pass here was what you would pay for one day in Scotland. And yes commercial fishing even is not as plentiful as it used to be. Hope you are enjoying your golf, I really like this guy….doesn’t swear of get upset, seems to really enjoy himself. Cheers from Canada sir!
