  • www.billsaiffou... Milky water conditions make it extremely hard for shoreline Browns to HUNT and STRIKE trolled lures. Capt. Bill Saiff III discusses the types of color combinations necessary to hook Browns in turbid water conditions. Bill shows examples of the Michigan Stinger spoons he would fish under these conditions. The methods he shares will help the spring fisherman put more Browns in the boat!
The Bill Saiff Outdoors family has a national reputation for pushing back the boundaries of great lakes fishing and hunting. Their goal has always been to provide the best fishing and hunting experience available on Lake Ontario and in its fields, marshes, and backwaters. Their syndicated sport fishing program, Bill Saiff’s “Rod & Reel,” has continually spurred interest in their part of Lake Ontario. In accordance with this, the Saiff family operates an eight-boat “Saiff Charters” fleet equipped to provide anglers with a great fresh water experience on eastern Lake Ontario.
The Saiff family also owns and operates Seaway Waterfowl Professionals (SWP), which offers exciting puddle duck, diving duck, and Canada Goose hunting for the novice to the experienced shooter from early October until late December. SWP uses the latest equipment and well-trained hunting retrievers to ensure your hunt is the memory of a lifetime.

One of the things we are trying to do this season is to use spoons that we don't often run. The "Can't Afford It" has never been on a Saiff Charter rod before. A veteran Captain can tell by looking at a bait whether it will work & when will be the best time to use it! We all have our "Pet Spoons" (for me it's the CADDYSHACK, SODUS PT BUCKEYE, BLACK WIDOW, FAT NANCY, PURPLE CLOWN, etc) but they aren't the BEST choices every day. Staying flexible will definitely help put more fish in the box. Thanks for watching guys...Capt. B3
