    I spawned mine a few weeks ago, I only got 4 frys but I'm really happy for them and they have such good color from being outside in the pond.

    I picked up a handful of white clouds in the beginning of the summer and put them in my new little patio pond. Well within a day or so I had quite a school of fry ! They have been breeding out there all summer along with a few guppies endlers and Platys. I bought some of them inside so I could enjoy their reflective colors better. They aren’t much too observe from the top down in way of coloration, but they are happy active little fish.
    I must say I am quite happy that I decided to give them a try!
    I have a few small groups inside and enjoy watching them dart around.
    They get on well with my Platys and fill in the areas of the tank that the Platys don’t really swim in.
    Thanks for the videos as always!
    I recommend anyone to give them a try. They are very rewarding ! 😊

    Great content on this channel big fan. I've had no success breeding minnows in a heavily planted tank with their parents, they always eat em. However I cycled a new planted tank intended for some shrimp recently, after a 5 weeks there were lots of nematodes about. I transferred three minnows, two females and one male, into the tank in an attempt to reduce the number of worms. After four days I took them back out and put them back to their home.
    Went to do a water change the next day only to be greeted by tons of fry. There's approx 60 fry now after a week all as happy as larry. A very happy accident indeed and a great excuse to buy another tank 😂.

      Just an update for anyone interested. I moved the fry to a bigger tank today, 97 of them in total, from one male and two females. I had no idea there were so many.
      There are one or two 'runts' but they seem to be doing OK if a little behind in size.
      Raising thems so rewarding I'd recommend it. Thank you Mark you're a legend.

    I have 6 (4 females 2 males) 24kt Gold White Clouds in a 110gal stock tank with some Endlers. The Endlers are breeding like crazy but I've not yet seen a single white cloud fry. They are spawning every day but no fry. Is it possible that the Endlers are eating every single fry?

    • @MARKSAQUATICS

      Hi. Yes the Endlers will eat all the eggs. You need to spawn them in their own tank and then remove the parents ok.

    I feel like breeding white clouds and get a big big school going, but every video I see they behave differently....do you feel they directionally school more, or they just hang out together like guppies? maybe is something to do with number or water flow?

    • @MARKSAQUATICS
      @MARKSAQUATICS  3 года назад +1

      I find they school up better with a faster pace of flow. With slower water flow I find they move apart and mooch about.
