@@bangvec CNG buses are somewhat limited in their lifespans because their CNG tanks usually expire around the 15-year mark. Most transit agencies elect to replace the entire bus instead of replacing the CNG tanks, including WMATA. That's the reason why the C40LFR buses haven't been running much lately.

@@bangvec Since this bus entered service in 2016 (6 years ago), this bus should have 9 years left in service. so it will likely retire in 2031.
