Peter Steel was probably the best bass vocal I have ever heard. In person he was a gentle giant. I got a chance to meet him after a show and he was a great guy. He is missed, thanks for the reaction guys.

Peter Steele was a giant among men, the man played a cello bass with a chain strap like a normal bass. Also, Black No. 1 is a color of black dye you would use on your hair.
Played this song a couple of months ago in open mic. It was my first time singing on stage. Thanks Peter for inspiring me 😊

You should check out 'A Pale Horse Named Death' (2 members of Type 0) - suggestion would be the track 'Die Alone' on their album 'And Hell Will Follow Me'
PS I know I'm fanboying out here, but if you're ever in Brooklyn..go visit the bench in his name and honor in Prospect Park. He was the 'Green Man'. Black no1 refers to the cheap brand name of 'Hair Dye' - it's a right piss up song on goth, especially with the lily munster vibe of the 'jazz' section you mentioned
