What causes astigmatism?:
Astigmatism happens when your cornea or lens has a different shape than normal. The shape makes light bend differently as it enters your eye, causing a refractive error.

same but after 10 years i got terrible vision at left eye.i dont knew it.i just closed right eye and i saw my terrible vision. now im 15 years old and i also got keratokonus too with astigmatism and glasses can't correct vision 😞 but im still happy because i can see atleast with one eye 😶

yes there are darker/bolder lines, 2 sets sometimes 4sets it depends everytime i blink.

I have 1.0 astigmatism on my right eye. The lines look the same for me, I cannot really notice any difference. However visual acuity on my right eye is not great and it fluctuates from 6/9 (20/30) to 6/12 (20/40). With both eyes open I can see 6/6 (20/20).
At Right eye (9,3) are black other lines are purple,green,gray and at left eye I can't even see lines only 9,3 are slightly noticeable others are blurry

I think it's really great, i have astigmatism and i felt the line thicker as per my eyesight and the line thicker is vertical and my axis is 90
Cool test. I already know i have astigmatism. With my left eye the 11 and 5 lines were bold and with my right eye the 1 and 7 were bold. I've had astigmatism for 33 years and never seen this test. Very cool. Even though i had to watch it first to see what it said to do before i took my glasses off lol.

Im watching at abt 10:30 and probably cos its late my astigmatrism is much worse, tot he point of not being able to read without strain. My glasses don't help much. Is this sort of fluctuation during evening and night normal?
