#DidYouKnow: It’s impossible to sneeze with your eyes open. Your eyes and nose are connected by cranial nerves, so the stimulation from a sneeze travels up one nerve to the brain, then down another nerve to the eyelids, typically prompting a blink.

I have been watching her since 8th grade (now in 12)....her explanation is amazing.
better explained than my teacher who is taking bucks to teach the same thing
Same
Even my teacher taught well but she struggled really hard
@@apricity192 f u
Same here
Sometimes the best teacher are people who aren’t aiming to be seen as the end all of info, and I think a lot of teachers in schools do that. It’s like they get so stuck in their ways they can’t see how it could be done better.
As someone whose worked in the eye world for years, I can say it is so important to be aware of how your eye works and checking the health of it. I would say people ignore eye problems more than anything else, and it really needs to be treated the same as any other no art of the body.
After having a patient who thought he had cataracts he’d ignored found out he had a terminal tumor behind his eye, which took his life less than a month later, I’ve become ultra vigilant about eye health.
Okay but how did u end up here?a 10th grade level video what
@@ruhiborkar4138oh hello it's a channel made for neet aspirants check the channel's name.
Cylindrical lens to correct ASTIGMATISM
Bifocal lens is used to correct PRESBYOPIA
🌟🌟♦️
Another fact: Some people (including me) can control the lens' shape on command. Here's the "powers" you gain:
- Being able to blur your whole vision
- Focusing on very close objects
i can see my finger clearly at a distance of less than 6 centimeters
Yeah
4 cm
I can blur my whole vision but can't do the 2nd one
Mam I don't no about this with the help of this video I learned so easy thank you.......
You are most welcome, Spandana! We are glad our video could help you learn something new. Keep watching 🙂🙂
Ya true....Me too
Very concise explanation (this video and the other on myopia)! It would have been great if you had created a video that has ALL the eye defects so that you can show the differences between them in one place. You can animate to show differences in eye shapes (shortened, elongated, etc), cornea and lens defects and how they affect the vision. For each defect, describe effects on near objects and far objects.
(Okay this definitely weird to be suggesting when I know this comment has been posted 2 yrs ago)
but you can rather make a note of all those little points given here and compare them accordingly like I do. I think that would help.
Mam for corrections we use double sided convex and concave lens?
I see your channel first time and it is very helpful to us
You should mention that a Cylindrical lens is used to correct Astigmatism
yes but, are you sure? Because i searched on google it said that its impossible to correct it
@@nishithprasad4769 the _vision_ of astigmatism can be corrected. The condition itself cannot.

Where image form behind the retina?
I had an unhealthy habit of constantly rubbing my eyes due to constant dry eye, and I may have gotten an astigmatism as a result. I realize now that if I had just used some eye drops I wouldn’t be in this situation.
Causes of hypermetropia:
1. Shortening of eyeballs.
2.Elongation of eye lens.
Thank you!
Thanks
Awesome video. You crammed a lot of knowledge in a very short video, but it really has all the information I needed. Good stuff!
Good demonstration

Hi ! When the eyeball is too short than it should be in the hyperopia then how can the distance between the lens and the retina be smaller than it should be ?? It should be greater because a small eyeball takes less space .
Axial shortening i.e small eye ball reduces the distance between lens and retina, distance objects are focused far like in normal eye so accommodation is needed for distant vision in hypermetropics. This is not discussed in the video.
Superbb
Awesome explanation...
Everything is just crystal clear❤️❤️
What a lecture 110/100
You're the best👍😉
