  • Hey Guys!!!
This is a part two of our original Elisa Lam disappearance. We notice that there was a increase of activity on our first video so we decided to film the hotel where she was first reported missing. We're not going to make any assumption or speculation on what happen to her but we're going to show you guys exactly how and what the hotel looks like and the possible route that Elisa Lam took to get there and how she ended up in the water tower.
Thank you for watching our video!

The contrast between the lobby and the rest of the rooms is ridiculous. The lobby is so majestic and beautiful but the rooms are grim!

The entrance looks professional, almost grand. but once in the room. that paint on the wall is like someone didn't wan't to pay for professional painters and hired their cousins. you can literally see the uneven drips. amateur work. and the tiles in bathroom split.

To me it’s very obvious why there was so many murders and suicides there. It’s a very bad neighborhood, if you have some mental illness or depression going on, the fact that it’s saturated, old, beaten up, and tiny makes your struggles even greater. The people that committed crimes were all mentally ill and lonely and I guess these rooms are so small and without social interaction, it quickly gets to you. It’s a shame it is a beautiful building. I think what would save the stay on main is to keep the art deco lobby and make two rooms become one in an Art Deco manner... and also putting some godamn metal bars at the windows to prevent suicide!! Cool video!

Wow, when you mentioned the hotel concierge/front desk clerk/ whoever he was being shady AF when you asked a simple question, no fucking thank you. :D :D And I LOVE traveling to creepy haunted places, too! Just...in more historic, affluent places, I guess? and not places where the evil is still so present and with a shady ass history as recent as 2013, where there's not just a sense of evil with the 'undead' spirits wandering the halls. It's evil with the living as well. This place is on the mountain of Fuck Nopeville for me. Good on you guys for going and sharing your experience with us! Great video!

My friends daughter and I stayed in the Cecil Hotel in 2008 and 2010. Our rooms were not too bad, especially for the price. Stay on Main had opened adjacent to the hotel by the time we stayed in 2010 and we weren’t as impressed that time, staff weren’t as nice as our first time. The lobby is definitely the nicest part of the hotel. The elevators pretty much had a mind of their own most of the time

That door alarm could have been an aftermath that they put there. It was also mentioned in an article that that door alarm 6:11 didn't actually have an alarm trigger, it was just the signs that told you it did have one in them. It's possible she or someone else could have opened it without alarm triggering. If it was someone else and lets say it could have triggered alarm, that person must have keys to disarm the alarm, most likely someone that works there in association to her demise.

The elevator video was heavily doctored in order to sell this narrative that she went crazy. Watch the video closely: The "strange gestures" she makes, are a result of video editing. You'll notice short backwards-forwards looping (like some animated memes on Twitter), and at least one instance of frame skipping, which also occurs later when the elevator door closes.
This is also why the time code has been obfuscated - to prevent anyone from seeing the time running. It's fairly easy nowadays even back in 2013 for anyone with a computer to cut and paste video from different times into a new sequence, in order to tell a different story than what actually occurred.
Conclusion: Obvious hotel staff coverup. And I bet the hotel management/staff had a "mutually beneficial" relationship with some of the police in the LAPD. The LAPD moved to close the case quickly, denying justice for Elisa and her family.
If Elisa had been a white American woman with rich parents, the case would have been handled very differently. But the victim here was an Asian Canadian woman. No justice for her. Welcome to America =(

Stayed here the end of April with my sister because of the history (love haunted places - thanks for the tip American Horror Story). Was here 5 days, 4 nights. Recorded a lot as well. Deff haunted but it was so clean and pretty (we were on the Stay side, not Cecil side) and the staff was so nice. Can't wait to stay again and see if we experience more! :)

+Flew Chew Choo Yes, at one point on one of the upper floors later at night there was definitely a spirit following me and the friend that was with me. Didn't really feel threatened by it though. Was probably just roaming the halls like we were lol

the cecil location is actually almost near mid downtown LA.... open sky view but architecture makes is cramped up...if only there is information to what the land use was before they started building the hotel we could identify to all the weird deaths and suicide that happened in the hotel....

Imagine being alone. How were the Hotels management able to circumvent the police? You want creepy, try the Sam Cooke motel. I’m not sure if it’s still standing, or was the street renumbered. Yikes!

At about the 1 minute mark. "We are in the actual elevator where Elisa Lam stood. This is the hold door key." You can clearly see that the elevator door is to the right of the key board. In the surveillance video the door was to the left of the board. Was the Elisa Lam video reversed? More deception by the police?

By the way, it was the police that doctored the footage of her elevator disappearance. I cannot say what happened, but another person's foot can be seen at the end of the video, in the lower left corner, outside the elevator. Elisa seems to walk right through it. Whoever doctored the footage, missed that part. It is messed up.

Certainly after what happened they will have certainly fixed everything, they have even even changed the name of the hotel, however this does not change that people died in there.

So could you have gotten on the roof through that window? It didn't seem secure. I also wonder if the signage was to deter people from trying, but if you had tried, would it really have set off an alarm? That window looked like a way to get on the roof for sure.

It looks like you're staying on the 11th floor...is that right? I understood that Elissa Lam stayed on the fourth floor. Does anyone know if that's true? Also, in stuff I've read about her disappearance, I always thought people said there was only one elevator, but when you walk up to it there seem to be two. Another thing: the mirrors in the elevator weren't there in 2013, in the EL video surveillance. Any thoughts on that? Why would they put in those creepy mirrors? Also, how many years after her death did y'all go there? I"m sure they've alarmed the door to the roof now, but that doesn't mean there was an alarm back then, or even if there was, it is rumored not to have worked. And at 6:55, you show that evacuation plan. Looking at the "you are here" symbol, it says there is "no roof access", but on the other side, I guess the other wing of the hotel, there is roof access. Did you ever go to that other wing and check it out? Thanks!

+jehouse61 a lot of people make big speculation onto this case; from slight hand movement to make believe shadows. In psychology there's a term for this, "conformation bias". In the end this case is still a mystery and that's the fun part about it :)

The way this hotel is built is not good! Is sad that it captures you will a beautiful lobby, then you go up ⬆️ and it’s extremely different, to the point of complete opposite end of the scale, looking at this and putting aside what has happened there, I get a very sad feeling, and a heavy depressive feeling, it’s not mentally good on the mind,it’s deceiving building, and one that needs to be knocked down! God knows what Loy Lester smith was thinking 🤔 when he designed it, I think he thought let’s save ground space and continue to build up ⬆️ wards, it looks like a prison once you get of the lift 🛗 with a bad feeling that always lingering constantly there! Not mentally healthy! there should be a sign stay at your own risk ⚠️ looking at the history of people losing there life, should be extremely concerning to the public!
