  • We produce over 120 car review films a year for use by manufacturers, dealer networks and wide range of media outlets. As always, we made the most of the half days filming session and took this Range Rover Sport off the road to put it though its paces.

I agree .... The best review of the RRS by far, A GREAT REVIEW - no nonsense !

At last! A no nonsense, no wittty, no corny little phrases review. Factual information about the car & not about the reviewer. I've just had a long trip in my 3.0tdv6 & the mpg was 32 over 650 miles. The car is unbelievably refined, quick and very quiet. He didn't actually mention that they have double glazed windows... The 3.0 tdv6 hse is in my view the perfect everyday car. It simply does it all for me.

I will still take the 2.7L. Smaller disc brake rotors allow more choice in tyre sizes with 17" rims.

I was comparing stock v. stock. Practical is a loose term. Practical is a $20,000 F-150 2wd. Neither of these two are practical. They are at or near the top of the heap in their perspective class. I looked at buying a new Raptor last month but decided on just finding, shipping over, and restoring a DEFENDER 110. For what I'll have in the 110, it'll be as much as the Raptor but worth twice as much when it's done. Both are great but have a different approach at it.

Raptors are garbage on off road trails. Wheelbase is too long and it's too wide. The Rovers also smack a Raptor when it comes to luxury. On the road the 510 HP Supercharged Range Rover will eat a Raptor alive. OK, I'll give you this: on a wide open desert road the Raptor is KING!

Couldnt agree more and 9mpg if you're lucky in a Raptor. Only thing ill say is the cooled seats are a huge plus when you need them!!

  • @EIGHTLUG

Did you watch the episode of "The Car Show" with Adam Corolla, where they tested a Raptor and bent the frame. They say that that's a "feature" of the Raptor. It keeps it from tearing up the suspension??? Say what?

When you do review you should also put how stupid is made this car... Trasmission service is not possible if you dont buy crap china parts or take transmission out.... with original parts is not possible... and that just the beginning of the story... make the review honest...

The review was made 9 years ago dumbass, there is no such think as transmission service on a brand new car
