Console Release date is November 21, 2024. (Nintendo Switch, PS5 (PlayStation 5), and Xbox Series X/S) So these are my impressions of the game. It's not very often we see something GIJOE related, so that is cool. However I am concerned with how long this will last in your gaming rotation. Let's us know what your think of the game below.
It blows my mind. I was born in 76. These are the games, toys & cartoons I grew up with in the early 80's. I can't believe they're releasing this, now.?. It's a combination of Double Dragon and TMNT. How they've stayed true to the original concept is amazing.
I wish they had gone for a Bucky O'hare arcade game style with you always had a gun and if in close you beat up the enemy but at longer range you shot at them. That and that we could play as Baroness rather then fight her. Either a Cobra campagin or one of the times she helped the Joes.
You never know they might add updates in the future which would allow other characters to be playable. That would be cool. I don't know if I have ever played the Bucky O'hare arcade game. I/ll have to look that one up.
@@TheSwishPOP It seems like its very rare. I loved Bucky O'Hare but I didn't even know there was an arcade game until I saw a youtube video on it. I eventually took a once in a lifetime road trip to get to an arcade that had it.
good game review video bro ahhh man, you KNOW how to live! just the thought of a Joe C & C makes me reach for my wallet, ha, ha I dream of this since genesis Dune 2, and I still have it on my genesis mini wrath of Cobra I have mixed feelings, it s looks genesis - saturn on the graphics level, like streets of rage 3 the mechanics - timing seems reminiscent to me, which would be good the structure, 1 rst Cobra waves should be vipers - troopers, so it s not bad defeating a hiss with fists is disappointing though, you should get a bazooka or something the snakes have different weapons than this... bazooka needed again but I like that Baroness has guards that fend for her as boss, mmm, love it! then, there s the price, it fits this product nicely, it s a bit shallow but... if it catches on, we could have sequels that correct the blunders refined, this game could go far..... the cool scenery, colours, theme, characters, you kinda play the cartoon. I ll probably watch a walkthrough 1 rst, maybe even buy a machine to get it it feels like streets of rage in mechanics, I d be pleased with that. ok, it s just a small arcade game to relieve from stress, and nostalgia, good mix for me, at a price... so now you know... God bless America and world peace good show bro
I don’t understand why this is a side scrolling beat em up, this should have been a Mercs style run and gun game but with more emphasis on getting into vehicles. But to me it just looks like a reskin of shredders revenge.
@@garethjones2746 Yeah it is completely a re-skin of all the classic beat'm up games like Ninja Turtles. It had potential, but it would have been nice to get something with a bit more depth.
I don't think there is anything solid just yet, you can find it in the eshop, but it just has a release date of 2024. Hopefully before the end of the year.
I've got a need for some classic G.I. Joe... but it won't be satisfied with this game. It makes no sense at all to me to associate a military-style franchise with a side-scrolling beat-em-up platform; I think they were just in it as a cash grab from the TMNT game. For me, the 1992 Konami G.I. Joe arcade game makes much more sense, and the developer should have gone for something along that line.

This ain’t making my rotation
@@WillieSlackmer Yeah. it was nice to see a new GIJOE release, but not sure if it's enough to hold my attention.
@@TheSwishPOP that’s the problem with some of these devs; they make a game to cash in on nostalgia, not a quality game that lasts.

Good.someone finally not bashing thus game, I've waited decades for this. And karate kid.
Aw man, I've been jonesing for a Command & Conquer type game for a while. Would absolutely love one with a GI Joe theme!
Oh yeah! Totally right? I think it would be so easy to do as well. I have been thinking about it for years.
I’m going to get it for sure
Check it out. Then come back and let us know what you thought about it. Have fun!

@@roguerifter9724 very cool. at least you had a chance to try it out. Ever play the GIJoe arcade game? I like that one.
@@TheSwishPOP Yeah I played it a few times as a kid and played it during the same trip I played the Bucky O'Hare game.
@@roguerifter9724 Yeah, I remember seeing it a few times as a kid. Great memories.
Any updates for November 12th 2024 for any other consoles like Nintendo switch?
No updates at the moment, but as soon as I hear something, I'll make sure to post about it.
@@TheSwishPOP thank you 🙏🙏

Yeah, I hear what your saying. Maybe even have a couple of level varities sprinkled in would have helped this game.
SO I GOT IT TODAY….COMPARED TO TMNT & DOUBLE DRAGON ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE
@@beezies2613 Yeah it doesn't really compare to some of those other classic games.
Love GI Joe. Like the art style. Gameplay is very weak. Price too high. Easy pass.
