Bro as soon as Gihoon said he's willing to make a small sacrifice for the "greater good", the Front Man knew that Gihoon was starting to become the very thing he swore to destroy. You could tell from the subtle changes in expression and a slight sneer. The actor was so good. Also, as many have said already, Daeho may have PTSD from his time as a Marine, since his fictional enlistment period coincides with an IRL shooting tragedy that happened in the Korean Marine Corps.

There’s no way that after two years he couldn’t have helped him find the island unless he was doing it on purpose. He’s an expert and even if he couldn’t precisely remember where he saved the Junho he could’ve at least remembered where it was closed to. Also, when the bomb went off in episode 6 he didn’t even flinch!!

I remember from season 1 that the escape tunnels they built for the VIPs to escape through was lined with explosives. If all of those explosives were to be detonated it probably would bring down the entire facility. There's no way the Korean police and government doesn't know that hundreds of their own citizens come up missing at a time, every year for at least 7 years. Korean politicians, judges and police have got to be bettors, investors and VIPs.

Director Hwang said Season 2 was a long story which has more than 10 episodes, so he finally decided to make two seasons. He decided to end Season 2 with EP 7 because Gi-hun and the vibe will be change after EP. 7 So, it is more like Season 2 part 1 and part 2 . That is enough to turn some people to do evil. It didn't take that much to turn Sang-woo. Some people change for the worse and some don't. Some people take even more courage in their fight for what's right. I'm just saying it's a possibility. Regarding the credit scene, because there are more Os than Xs, they’re gonna vote and keep playing. 456 fumbled this one. Had they attacked first like 001 suggested, they would’ve gone home with less casualties on both parties. 456 really put his revenge before everything.
I think Daeho (the marine dude who got scared) had some PTSD, that's why when they were shooting he acted that way. Hyunju is truly the MVP for this ep tho. The way she was leading them way better than Gihun. Some of fan theories even said that Minsu (the loser scaredy cat guy) is the VIP. But i don't know if that's true. i’ve seen a theory where someone said the front man is the son of the old man from season 1. And they brought up some good points. 1. They’re both 001 2. They both can’t drink milk 3. The detective’s dad has been missing too so what if the old man is his father who created the games and then his brother (the front man) was the heir. so they both disappeared because of the games 4. The front man treated the old man really different than the other players

They're probably both 001 so that the red suits know not to kill them as it is an easy number to remember rather than a random number like "327", for example. 2. It's very common for east asians to be lactose intolerant 4. Considering the old man was the creator and probably his direct boss, obviously front man would treat him differently.

About the dad, player 246 aka "Sweet Home" ➡️ I have two theories: 1) 011, who's been keeping an eye on 246 the whole time, shot him in a non lethal spot but made it so he appears dead. She saves and hides him amongst the pink soldiers. 2) One of the pink soldiers who send people for harvesting, shot 246 in a non lethal spot so they can take his organs. 011, who has beef with them anyway, kills them and saves 246 just in time. Then she disguises him as a pink soldier. Also... SPOILER WARNING FOR SEASON 3 ⚠️⚠️⚠️ The actress playing 011, posted a BTS photo on her Instagram (which she immediately deleted afterwards) showing her in her pink soldier outfit AND... the actor playing 246 sitting in the background in a pink soldier outfit too. So, that definitely aligns with the above theories...!!! And anyway, it's a rule in movies and dramas. If you don't see them die, they ain't dead!!! I'm really rooting for them tbh. My "Sweet Home" lovelies need to survive together 🤞✨ Especially 246, who has a sick daughter in a hospital... Season 2 is a complete build up to Season 3. HyunJoo (the Glory guy) was my fav character of Season 2. She rocked it. Sweet Home guy was shot by Suit 11. I think he is gonna survive and Suit 11 will either get him out of the island or stitch him back up and hide him somewhere in the compound. Or… Suit 11 kills one of guys who is part of the organ harvesting team, put Sweet home guy in a pink suit 🧐 Rumour is that the timid guy who throw a coke bottle.. he is one of VIPs.
I would love to see maybe a flashback of FM/In-ho participating in the games that he won. We have seen some glimpses of how much of a threat he can be and how good he is in the games, like in the mingle game or the pentathlon, but I would love to see his intro into the games
I saw people on the Internet say the trans was more braver than the "ex marine guy" True that the transgender was brave. But GENDER has nothing to do with this. (I Myself was disappointed for sec and got pissed with him at that moment but) His decision at the end was very Realistic. His character was expected to be “tough” because he’s a Marine when it’s already implied that he only joined there bcause his dad wanted to make a man out of him,,,, How he acted in the end resonates true w/ that. Swear ppl were just not paying attention! literally said he only joined the marines cuz his dad wanted him to be manly and was physically uncomfortable and changed the subject when they tried to push him to talk more about his dad. Guy just wanted to have fun w/ his sisters.
This episode took a dark turn in Gi huns character development that I didn't like. In the whole first season and up to this point he was all about trying to save as many lives as possible, even risking his own to try to save lives but to no avail. But before the special game instead of trying to negotiate, or fight he was willing to sacrifice at least half of his "team/side" who voted to leave for an extremely risky ecscape attempt. Had someone else suggested his plan in the first season he would have never agreed to do it. Also they could have killed off the O side and vote to end the game instead. That would be one way to beat the "makers" of the game, like he tried in the 1st season when he made it to the final and tried to leave the game before winning. Give the VIPs a huge disappointment. Killing the front man does nothing, he will be replaced and the games will continue, it's too big to stop in the way he's trying to. Even if he manages to stop the games in Korea the games in other countries will continue. This is a global organisation.

If u want a movie with Kang Haneul (the "ex marine") guy, highly Highly recommend his Movie Forgotten! For me, this is his best work and acting yet! Watch it guys, its so underrated yet such an amazing twist in a movie! Forgotten is definitely the definition of PLOT TWIST in a film. I promise, its so worth it!

About the dad, player 246 aka "Sweet Home" ➡️ I have two theories:
1) 011, who's been keeping an eye on 246 the whole time, shot him in a non lethal spot but made it so he appears dead. She saves and hides him amongst the pink soldiers.
2) One of the pink soldiers who send people for harvesting, shot 246 in a non lethal spot so they can take his organs. 011, who has beef with them anyway, kills them and saves 246 just in time. Then she disguises him as a pink soldier.

The actress playing 011, posted a BTS photo on her Instagram (which she immediately deleted afterwards) showing her in her pink soldier outfit AND... the actor playing 246 sitting in the background in a pink soldier outfit too. So, that definitely aligns with the above theories...!!! And anyway, it's a rule in movies and dramas. If you don't see them die, they ain't dead!!!

I saw people on the Internet say the trans was more braver than the "ex marine guy" True that the transgender was brave. But GENDER has nothing to do with this. (I Myself was disappointed for sec and got pissed with him at that moment but)
His decision at the end was very Realistic. His character was expected to be “tough” because he’s a Marine when it’s already implied that he only joined there bcause his dad wanted to make a man out of him,,,, How he acted in the end resonates true w/ that.
Swear ppl were just not paying attention! literally said he only joined the marines cuz his dad wanted him to be manly and was physically uncomfortable and changed the subject when they tried to push him to talk more about his dad. Guy just wanted to have fun w/ his sisters.
This episode took a dark turn in Gi huns character development that I didn't like. In the whole first season and up to this point he was all about trying to save as many lives as possible, even risking his own to try to save lives but to no avail. But before the special game instead of trying to negotiate, or fight he was willing to sacrifice at least half of his "team/side" who voted to leave for an extremely risky ecscape attempt. Had someone else suggested his plan in the first season he would have never agreed to do it. Also they could have killed off the O side and vote to end the game instead. That would be one way to beat the "makers" of the game, like he tried in the 1st season when he made it to the final and tried to leave the game before winning. Give the VIPs a huge disappointment. Killing the front man does nothing, he will be replaced and the games will continue, it's too big to stop in the way he's trying to. Even if he manages to stop the games in Korea the games in other countries will continue. This is a global organisation.

Military experience doesn’t mean skillfully trained in combat though. And we know btw, we are going through it with bts currently
