When they say that you can't find quality work now days, that is not true. You and your crew are evidence of that. You all do great work. Congrats from California.
That is really first class work. Hard to find that quality of craftsmanship these days. My hat is off to you and your team sir!! My Grandfather was a mason, built many a fireplace, foundations etc. Maybe that's why I'm so interested in this type of work.
Love yur videos! Yur use of the 'fast forward' feature on yur camera is great. FF makes labor & time intensive cc work look like its soo EZ! So, can you insert a clock (calender?) on an area of our screen so viewers can get the realism of just how long it takes to do what you are showing? Your enormous physical efforts over time should be seen for more appreciation of what you create. Love your great attitude toward real work! Not all of us can sit in an air conditioned Kubota tractor cab (sipping fancy coffee) like certain Morgans we watch on Utube! (LoL) !😊👍👍👍
Hello! As a former builder - you and your sons do great work. I had a lot of work “not so good” concrete people. Congratulations on your RUclips channel. Keep up the good work. I will see you in the next one. Philip from Charleston South Carolina.
Great video. Your crew is always prepared and ready so when the mixer shows up you guys won’t waste any valuable time. Especially that concrete is a perishable material. Keep up the great work you guys do every day.
Watching you guys now from your work at Mike Morgan’s place. I am subscribed and went back and “liked”all of ‘em. You do GREAT work. I never knew one could “stamp” soft concrete to create a pattern UNTIL I watched you: AWESOME!
🙋♂️Hey Tom.....Pro Tip: Look into a "Backpack Sprayer"....It'll free up your guys hands to not have the tank to lug around. It's a real time saver in our operation👍 keep up the good work on the videos. Your already lookin a bit more comfortable in front of the camera.
love the different designs in each video. Wish you had time for a job in Darlington PA this year. Love to have you do sidewalks, turn around pad and a front patio. Tough to find someone not already booked.
What a fantastic job! I did concrete years ago and I know how ruff it can be . With that being said that was a very big job to do in one day. Thats alot of hustling. But by far you have a good crew 👍
Ok, video editing ....you got your audio balance worked out, no more being blasted when music is used. Also liked the way you stayed with the sounds of the guys working with their tools. " Bloody Well Done "
It looks so amazing 👏 😍 So you put a different color mix with the sealer and that's what gives the second color or just the sealer it self? Sorry for my ignorance
Always thought contractor sights were a little humorous…guys giving each other a hard time about simple mistakes and whatnot ?? I love your channel and the work you do is amazing.
It most add to the cost , but I bet it is a fraction of what a separate stone boarder would be . I sure hope the GC keeps the trade's vehicles off of that so they don't leak oil or other stuff on to the driveway .
Hey Tom, what product would you recommend for sealing concrete? I've got an elevated concrete deck that was poured about 40 years ago, and would like to make it last well past another 40...lol. Thank you sir!
@@GunpowderandFreedom Old school pour of regular concrete; has some grip to it (not slippery) but not broomed really like the sidewalks. Was poured on an steel i-beam framework, so trying to keep any water from penetrating through...
TOM, so......,Out of curiosity, may I ask a few questions?...How many yards total on that pour? The thickness of the crete? And, any wire or rebar, or just poured over the stone base? Great design and finish. You definitely have a great crew, I noticed there was no tension with your team, it shows by example of being a great Boss!
I believe it was in the ball park of 40 yards. Our average thickness was probably around 5”. We used wire and rebar in the driveway and just rebar in the sidewalk. There was also fiber mesh in the concrete
@@GunpowderandFreedom thanks for your reply. Didn't even think about the fiber crete. Well, for sure yinz won't have call backs on that job! Good stuff!!

Built my last home 34 years ago with similar pour as here. However, not even close to your finished product. Beautiful work!
Really like all the textures you guys do! Nice work!
That rolled edge really sets it off...👌
This may be your best video yet. Shooting and editing is getting better, really shows off what great looking work y’all do.

Work of art! Clever way of dressing up plain concrete other than stampcrete!👌

So you put a different color mix with the sealer and that's what gives the second color or just the sealer it self? Sorry for my ignorance
The color goes in our liquid release and then we put a clear sealer on top of everything no problem thanks for watching
wow that look amazing
good job man good video
looks great how did you add the color to the border is that a stain?
Nice work Tom when did u add the color for the border or was it a tint color add to the sealer if so what color.
I was spraying the antiquing color on the border the following day. The clear sealer really brings it to life

We that permatique color?
Storm Grey
Never realized there were and are SOO many Cosmetic concrete displays available. Why blacktop? Ever?
That was a great
Great looking job what is that your spraying on the border ?
It’s the antiquing color. It’s an accent color that really helps to bring the texture to life
Great job...very nicely done!! Would love to know cost on your jobs, even just a ballpark if you don't want to divulge actual breakdown.
Nice!
