I Crashed My DJI Mini 2 Drone Into An Island!

I was flying my drone around a small beach when I thought it would be a good idea to fly it over to a small island just off shore from the beach.
After flying around the island I decided to lower the drone to get a closer shot of the island but doing this caused the island to come in between the drone and my remote cutting the signal. You can guess what happened next. Luckily I was able to recover the drone with very little damage and only discovered the severity of the crash upon viewing the SD card. Lean from my mistake... Make sure your remote always has line of sight to the drone!

Lucky you because I just crashed my DJI Mavic mini 2 Saturday and I would have to order parts to get it to flying again. However, I ordered another drone which I received today called Exo Cinemaster 2. Hopefully it’ll fly just like the Mavic mini 2

What was the RTH height? Should have been much higher I guess!

It was set at 80m. Not sure why it decided to fly forward before going all the way up
