Hiking in Montenegro Durmitor National Park to The Ice Cave!

I took an Autumn hike through Durmitor National park of Montenegro into the mountains to visit the ice cave. Leaving from my accomodation in Zablejak, I followed a route that I found on All Trails. Just as I was leaving the town, a friendly stray dog approached me and followed me all the way from town into the Mountains. The hike is beautiful, especially in Autumn as all the leaves were beginning to change. Being moderately fit, I found this hike to be quiet difficult with a lot of up hill rocky sections. The Ice cave itself is a steep decline into the side of a mountain with plenty of ice at the bottom as the name suggests. This hike took me about 6 hours to complete. Would 100% recommend this as a day hike to any adventurers looking for a challenge in Zabljak.

I'm hiking on Durmitor this weekend! great video to get to know the trail a little bit beforehand. One funny thing, back in Mexico we have alot of strays in the mountains, we say that they are the souls of people that sadly passed away there now they take care/guard the hikers on the trails. We say that if a dog follows you on the trail, you will be safe and its seen as lucky
