I feel you on Valaya! Personally on me it turns very sharp…glad I only got a decant before purchasing. Also totally agree on My Way OG is the best in my opinion very easy to reach scent profile…so signature worthy 😉

@@mightystrong5484 I was just answering the comment as to why she doesn’t have a Mercari linked. Influencers are not supposed to *sell* their PR for several reasons.
It sounded like most of the ones she is decluttering were PR, so she is smart to give away rather than sell.

I think our tastes change over our life time. There are people who will wear a signature scent their whole lives and never change it. I’m not one of them, because my taste has certainly changed over time. I went thru a gourmand phase, and now I’m in the fresh aquatic phase. I’m very choosy with my fragrances and am currently trying to find one that can steal my heart away from Wood Sage and Sea Salt. The only thing I don’t love about WS and Sea Salt is its abysmal staying power. Erin, if you know one similar that will last I’d love to hear it. Now I’m going to watch part one of your declutter.

I bought Armani “My Way” a couple years ago because of you, and it’s by far my MOST complimented and starting to be my signature scent. Obsessed with it!!

Wow, i don't think I've ever heard of dt other PDM fragrance u're decluttering. Didn't even see it on fragrantica.
I agree about Valaya. I actually prefer the Afnan version Mystique Bouquet over Valaya. It's softer, sweeter, and doesn't remind me of heavy duty ammonia-based cleaners like Valaya.
My Mystique Bouquet is very sharp and medicinal. I can't wear it, not pleasant at all and I love clean/fresh perfumes, but not this one.
Valaya is a masterpiece in its class I love it. On my second bottle. The AFNAN dupe I bought to see and although it smells about 90% the performance is trash. Valaya gives me 10 hours on my skin so it’s valaya for me.
I would totally buy your Gabrielle, Valaya, Matcha meditation, and MFK 724 😭
WOW! Yum Pistachio, Floral St Wonderland Peony, and Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid (which I'm wearing right now lol) are 3 of my favourites!
I am so sad to see some favourites in here, but happy that you will add another ones that you will enjoy more ❤️
I've already added probably 20 new fragrances to my collection that I really love and add a new dimension, it's sad to let go of so many but I'd rather keep editing and finding new gems :) xx

Valaya, i really like it for summer, but, love Delina La Rosee for summer from PDM. Latest fragrance from the brand was Haltane, purchased last for my dear husband, it's super good! Love these videos! The Kayali perfumes are all duds for me. Have you tried any of the Chloe perfumes or any of the Aerin perfumes? I absolutely love the Aerin perfumes They are very unique

I think we have similar scent preference. I prefer apple love. Same reaction to Rose Lychee and did not care for the RL romance intense.

I love TF Neroli Portofino, but it lasts less than an hour. Do you know of something similar that lasts a bit longer?
Dior "Escale à Portofino" is similar and on my skin lasts longer :)

Have you tired DUA’s dupe for it? Usually you can get fragrances for $33 with the discount.
I don’t like buying dupes but sometimes for the price I will check out how it compares to the original.

I also decluttered Gabrielle, Valaya and Silk Santal by Kayali. To my nose, Gabrielle was another white floral, Valaya was too unixex, and Silk Santal had too many vanillas already. I do have Carmina that I purchased last winter. So far I like Carmina, but who knows what my nose preference will be next winter. I have MFK 724 and I used it mainly to go to the gym when I need a fresh scent.
My Silk Santal doesn’t smell like it did when I first bought it. It’s also thicker when I spray it. It’s not a favorite anymore.
You can fetch high dollar for that unicorn

Amazing Grace isn't my cup of tea either. I decluttered mine two years ago. it's said that Amazing Grace is the #1 women's fragrance in America and i just can't believe that! No way 😂!!! I love Dylan Turq. Very clean.

I had a bottle of Tom Ford Jasmine Rouge that I had so long that it seemed to “turn” too. It hurt to discard it but it didn’t smell right.

When I first smelled Valaya on paper, I thought it was way too sharp but then I applied it on my skin. I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist and I’ve loved it since. On me, I prefer it to Delina. 😬

I absolutely loathe Dylan Turquoise ugh. I sprayed it on me once lol i had to remove with alcohol immediately. I love how personal fragrance is to each person.
Agreed! Also, I think they came up with a purple one smells great in the bottle. Terrible on me.

I’m like you, I don’t intentionally layer. I feel like a fragrance should be balanced and beautiful and intriguing on its own, and it annoys me on principle to be told that I need to purchase 2 or even 3 bottles of something to get the complete experience. Like the layering of transparent shirts in the early 2000s, I can’t stand that. Sometimes layering happens unintentionally (a lotion + a fragrance, or when switching fragrances mid-day), but that's my limit.

Do you ever declutter and sell? Long story short I'm going through a divorce after 30 years together. He cheated with my best friend and she got pregnant. The judge ordered our house to be sold and signed the papers with everything in it included. I lost everything 😭. I'm so overwhelmed and have to start all over from scratch at 50!!

Great video, thank you. I also did a declutter of my fragrances and kept those that I don't like to use as air-fresheners in my bathrooms. I also spray them on my curtains blinds and decorative pillows. My house smells nice. I don't think fragrances should be layered. Jo Malone fragrances are supposed to be layered. I disagree and don't buy those at all. Jo Malone fragrances last on me for about 10 minutes.

Carmina is very rosy on me and I don’t like rose in perfumes 😞
See I wish I could smell the rose but I just smell heavy woody, earthy notes. Queen of Silk, the newer launch works much better on my skin! xx
Not Italica!!!! I bought that for myself for my 60th b day. I love it, but can't spray it with abandon. A few spritz and I'm good.
It’s a beautiful fragrance, I just never wear it because it’s so strong. I’ve gifted it to my husband for now so let’s see if you wears it :) xx
