I'm on my 8th set of Hercules on several different vehicles (use to be the At2 now X Venture). They have been excellent tires. I recommend them all the time
Do you drive in deep snow? I take my ram off road in soft snow with my KO2s and they do great buuut on packed/slushy/messy snowy roads I slide all over the place. Even slid off the highway last year while driving straight! I just wonder if dedicated winter tires will do alright in deeper snow. Might also consider wild peaks and stud them.
Curious how the tires holding up 1 year later? How was wear? Putting these on my truck for the winter. Town and highway mix driving hoping to get three seasons out of them
I'm running Cooper Snow Claw on my F150 4x4. Incredible traction .I've had other winter tires that performed great but I'm super impressed with these so far.Great stability when towing my enclosed sled trailer.Super quiet and great fuel economy as well with these.
I also have the studded Nokian Hakkapeliita 9 on my CX9 There insane 2 different kinds of studs and probably twice the amount of studs of a regular studded snows!!
I second! As far as I know right now, the Toyo AT3 is only all season tire with a snow flake (snow tire rated), too boot it’s load ratings are legit to haul. We spent thousands on tires before we found Toyo. We have hade several sets of MT’s, AT’s and one set of 37”RT’s. The MT and RT’s are stupid in the snow. The AT3 is probably the best all season tire for a work truck currently available, at least that I’m currently aware of…
If we had slicks all the way around where would we end up haha , tires do matter especially when we drive on frozen ground, I also hang a skirt ( Low) in back to keep road debris slush salt etc off my trailer , mud flaps don’t do a full job but work . Many option out there .
I don’t believe there is any such thing as “all season” tires. There’s winter tires and everything else is for summer. I own a body shop and see a LOT of different vehicles and can’t believe some of the worthless tread patterns I’ve seen and say all season or even mud and snow. I kinda understand when it’s a city person but most of my customers are from the Pa mountains and I’m shocked when farmers or people with atvs don’t get that tires make a difference. If tires make a difference on your sxs common sense should tell you it will make a difference on you car. I guess I’ll just gleefully line my pockets with the unbelievers but what bothers me is sometimes there’s a child seat in that vehicle and it’s not always just the vehicle that gets hurt
Bf Goodrich K02 work amazing winter and summer and look cool too I am a huge fan and I run studded snow tires in my car so I know what a good winter tire feels like.
I've had them and toyo mt, but they get too hard cold and don't perform like a true winter. Not bad in snow though. Righow I have nokiam rockproofs thsg are studable but still go with their lt series on my truck. The rubber compound on a true winter just aren't replaceable when it hits - 30
The K02’s are good in snow, yes, but they are TERRIBLE on ice. They get very hard in truly cold temps, have minimal siping, and I’ve personally almost gotten in two accidents due to them losing lateral traction on icey highways. There are NO all season/terrain tires that perform in sub-freezing temps like a true dedicated winter tire, studded or studless
Who cares if it’s sponsored? They put out great videos and they need to be paid for it. At least their advertisements pertain to a sport that we all love and enjoy and maybe someone could take something home from this.

😀👍Great Tips on Truck & Trailer Tires

Thank you for the review. I just purchased 4 of these for the van. I'll check out the trailer tires also
Awesome!

Studded nokian tires are what I run on my fj cruiser. Up here in the north I'd never run any vehicle without winter tires
To answer your question . YES! Massive difference , especially on a two wheel drive truck. A must have for any sledder.

The Consumer Report says the best snow tires are Blizak followed by Michelin if and snow radial. I put this up once before and it got deleted.
Sweeeet Sierra! And my favorite color!
I just run bald all seasons, with chains. Lol
Maximum traction 😆
I don't know that I would bother with winter tires on my 4WD truck. I have however put them on a FWD car. The added traction is impressive indeed.
Try out a truck with snows. It is awesome for driving through crappy conditions.
Do you run with a weight distribution hitch in the winter on the trailer? Just wondering how it affects steering traction in the snow. Cheers
I use studded toyos, works great, but nokian and some other tires made for the Nordic countries also works.
Great looking tire
I also have the studded Nokian Hakkapeliita 9 on my CX9 There insane 2 different kinds of studs and probably twice the amount of studs of a regular studded snows!!
Never even considered winter tires for the trailer. Yesterday my trailer was drifting as I was rounding a corner. Eeek!
Sweet looking trailer 👍🏻
Studded tires here in northern Sweden, using Hakkapeliita 10 which is top tier rubber. Especially the side grip is really impressive.
Toyo AT3 is a great tire with lots of feel. Of course I always carry at least one set of chains for logging roads

I have Toyo AT3's on my truck, and have the same trailer as in the video. 7x25+4? It's pretty sweet.
How do you like those tires

those treads dont look very deep for a truck tire, do you know the depth?
Not off hand, sorry. I will see if I can get that info for you. Stay tuned...
I was really hoping to hear someone had snow/winter tires for trailers. Thanks for the let down lol
All day long yes. Proof that they are a good idea? Some provinces in Canada like Quebec have winter rated tires during winter months a law.
COOPER ATP or Toyo AT3s are the way to go.
What AJ posted on Facebook to doug ford was truth and that same opinion needs to e expressed by millions of ontarians
best snow tire Goodyear duratrac incredible snow traction

Everything they said can be true for any winter tire though so it's revelant. And ya sponsors are key to any business why would that surprise you
