Amanchu is a really beautiful show, not just aesthetically but in all aspects. It was very good and I hope it will get more seasons in the future. The strong atmosphere and emotional resonance were my favorite things about it. When Teko felt anxious, my heart was pounding, etc. I like how the show had a lot of "detour" episodes not really related to diving, since enjoying mundane everyday moments and simply having fun was one of its themes.
Aria soundtrack is perfect in this video.
I'm a diver through PADI and i approve the realism of this anime.
Amanchu was actually pretty decent. It was a nice and tender anime with simple story about friendship, finding new interests, living in the moment, finding the fun in mundane and was also pretty funny at times. It did have nice messages behind it, something that all of us can relate to. My favorite moments were whenever the show used setting, music (and sometimes lack of music), cinematography and sound design to create a beautiful and serene ambiance; that made it to be very relaxing experience. It's definitely great to watch for example during rainy days when you just want to relax and watch something that's slow paced and takes the edge off.

I'm enjoying it as a nice and calm anime. it sometimes very slow tho, hard to binge.
Good job explaining what makes this show so memorable. Unlike Flying Witch, a lot of the scenes from this show will stick around with me for a while just because of what I felt when watching them and if I ever rewatch it I'll definitely look out for all of those extra things you pointed out.

Amanchu was a great anime. One of my favorite aspects was the atmosphere in combination with the soft and gentle visual presentation and the wonderful musical background.

Great video! Amanchu was my favorite from last season. I'd love to see you do a video on Flip Flappers from this season. It's definitely the one I'm looking forward to the most this season.
Great video! I'm a little behind myself and just decided to invest in this series and I'm enjoying it very much. I enjoy all the symbolism in each episode and just what it stands for in general. We all struggle with different forms of anxiety and some more extreme for people than others, but this show handles it wonderfully. The messages in each episode are wonderful and I'm shipping Teko and Pikiari hardcore! Hoping for some yuri, but who knows lol.
IMO, this is the most underrated show of the summer.
You really help whittle down the shite anime and present us with the good. I'll be watching Amanchu for sure now, it does sound very good and I hope helpful to people who see themselves in the same situations in life.
