Did you think I was going to let "Vicious Lies" turn 10 years old without ANY kind of mention of it?
I'm obviously not entrenched in "The Fandom" anymore, but I thought it would be appropriate to finally upload, after all of these years, the arrangement of this tune that I used to use when I played it live at various conventions across the country.
The original version wasn't shy about its Depeche Mode influences, and this one is even less so, replete with the snare from World in my Eyes, and the 303 arpeggio that accompanied the Devotional version. Some of the versions I did of this tune at conventions would medley straight into a cover, which is part of the reason there are so many DM cues.
The background image here is from the Bronycon performance of it back in 2016.

God, listening to this is like putting on a pair of driving gloves you haven't worn in years only for them to fit so comfortably back onto your fingers it takes you right back to the last time you wore them~
Such nostalgia. I would love a brony music reunion of some kind in the future. The creativity was the best part of the Fandom, and the musicians mean so much to me.
Even long after the G4 generation has passed, we still have songs that tell their story even today.
This one is of a powerful princess still telling her Vicious Lies...one that nearly costed her kingdom and the only family she had left.

I'm nostalgic for The Fandom, honestly. Sure, I was pretty cringe back then, but it was a simple time when I was just a dude having fun... It's for the best that I've moved on, and I definitely got addicted, but I'd be lying if I said I had anything but a great time. I might have heard this live at Everfree NW, actually. I don't remember which year, but if it was indicative of your normal shows, you're a great stage presence. I haven't been paying super close attention to the streams and stuff, but I hope you're doing well lately. Wish you all the best when I'm not drawn here by nostalgia trips. =)

It is. I've had this channel since 2010 and I have no idea how to toggle that.
@@dnotive I don't know exactly how to do this, but you need to contact your distributor to get a "Official Artist Channel" badge, or write to Google Support!
Also can be find and watch a video guides on RUclips, how to do it.
