If I were Maureen I would have kept up the facade and tried to be a good role model. It worked for the Osmonds. She could have had a great career in Hallmark movies and off broadway plays to keep up her skills. Of course, I know the 1970s were a confusing time for young people. I was the same age as Maureen and everything good was ridiculed (i.e., virginity, no drinking, drugs, cursing lifestyle). It was hard to find a decent group of friends in which to have some innocent fun.

Everyone who knows Maureen is aware of the ups and downs of her life. The fact that you referred to her primarily as the character she played and not the woman herself throughout the whole video is dishonorable to Ms. Mccormick herself. Not to mention you using clips of a completely different person that had nothing to do with Maureen or her life, is even more unjustified. If we really wanted to reflect on her life, we could read her autobiography, thanks a lot.
