Writing this on the day that Rickles died. I watch these outtakes at least 10 times a year, whenever I need to be cheered up. Funny how a crack staff of comedy writers can spend hours/days/weeks crafting jokes that aren't even one tenth as funny as shit Rickles says right off the top of his head. Were studio heads progressive thinkers, these outtakes would have been inserted directly into the body of the show and we'd have a revolutionary show that would've been a smash hit, instead of the dud we wound up with. RIP Don Rickles, Mr. Warmth. The world seems much emptier now.

If He did not constantly say , that he was a Jew, I don't think world would accept his insults. I think he is just little angry man , that wants constant attention, I think it's called these days ADD.
I think I know why it was cancelled. They never even got one show completed. I understand outtakes but it looks like it was every single scene. I love Rickles but if theres anyone who should be a professional it should be him. I cant imagine the amount of money they wasted doing this. Time is money,
@ItsFrankieBoy The show was canceled 'cause it sucked. Luckily, Rickles was hysterical in these outtakes and we can all enjoy them here on youtube, so some good came from all of it. I'd love to work in such a lighthearted atmosphere. Why stress out about the budget of a failed sitcom from the early 90s that you had no involvement in?

I watched this video now in 2024. These great legends are deceased. 😢. I wish we can bring them back. They were both hilarious 😅 😊🎉.
