You saved that person a lot of money Jimmy. My own car has 200,000 miles on it and the dpf is the original, which has never been cleaned. All my driving is motorway, or at least 40km cross country runs not in traffic. So I guess this has kept my dpf cleaned out. However, do you think I should put some Wynns fluid through it as a “preventative” measure?
I have not got any fault codes at all DPF related however I am getting constant passive regeneration every 10 miles or so, I have done a forced regen, got the soot down to 0 then within a few miles it's back upto 80!! Dpf pressure sensor reading 0 on idle 10 under load. So why is the soot mass going up so fast?
Great that you show people the basics of how the DPF cleaning process works but you show to many trade secrets that will reduce other small companies wages buddy .
Hi mate looking for your advise my garage has said my DPF is sat at around 60 grams of soot, I had an air intake sensor issue previously which has clogged the DPF they have said it needs replaced for new, in your experience could it be flushed ? Thx
Nice to see you back jimmy
Thank you

Exactly what I did with mine using diagbox
Hi Jim, when you clean a dpf filter do you always go through the sensor pipe to spray the cleaner
Always if possible
