    Just a quick update since there have been a lot of changes to the game since this has been posted. This loadout should work even better on the new patch since there are fewer bile titans, but I would consider swapping out the Orbital Railcannon Strike for something else. Orbital Gatling barrage, Orbital Cluster Strike, sentries, or the Orbital precision strike will likely make you more effective with how many chaff enemies are in the game now. If you don't mind running double eagles, I would strongly consider the napalm strike or rocket pods as well.

    Dude, please make more videos breaking down the mindset of being a good team player that maintains a healthy mindset as you have. You're preaching to the choir for me, I always play a couple hours of 9s with randoms most days, and I find most people look at randoms in an unfair way and frustrate themselves by perpetuating such a narrow outlook. 99% of my experiences with them have been great and I believe most of it comes from being easygoing and accepting inevitable differences while not fixating on pointless standards and comparisons. The community really needs videos like this, and spreading these messages is a true service.

      I am humbled cadet. You're out there doing democracy's work o7.
      I really believe that some of the frustrations people have been feeling with the balance of the game can be fixed with just basic cooperation. Stagger and stuns for example can be good as a lone wolf, but they are so much better when you use them around your teammates. There are a few things that are pretty liberty damned terrible right now, but the majority of our kits can be highly effective when used right.

    Sometimes you play with randoms and everyone is on point.

    Since the autocannon can already close bug holes and the pummeler with gas strike is actually not bad for dealing with swarms already, maybe consider swapping the incendiary impact grenade for stuns? Otherwise the build seems to be quite good.
    Since we're on the topic of random helldive build for bugs, you may want to try this one that I came up with recently (make appropriate adjustments if needed). The build is as follows:
    - Punisher
    - Senator
    - Stun Grenades
    - Grenade Launcher
    - Supply Pack
    - Orbital Precision Strike
    - Eagle 500 kg Bombs
    Punisher and Senator are what you usually use when traversing the map and dealing with enemies. The grenade launcher cannot be used as a primary weapon. If you do so, you will run out of GL ammo very quickly even with the supply pack. You take out the grenade launcher only when you need to deal with a group of enemies right now, during a bug breach or whatever high pressure scenario that the grenade launcher can solve that you can think of. Punisher is also excellent against Stalkers at close range alongside being able to easily kill Hunters and stop charging Brood Commanders. Swap this for a Pummeler if you so wish but I like the bigger punch of the Punisher.
    Grenade Launcher is what you use to immediately shut down swarms of bug infantry of all kinds. Also very effective against spewer groups which are a massive threat. Try to find elevated ground if possible to increase the effectiveness of the grenade launcher. Supply Pack so you can keep the grenade launcher fed and effectively become a mobile mortar for the team. Also gives you stun grenades which you will find useful.
    For chargers, you can usually just avoid them. Put hard cover between you and the Charger and just disengage, no need to kill everything. But if you need to stand your ground against the Charger, that's what Orbital Precision Strike alongside stuns are for. Use 500 kg bombs if you can't use Precision Strike. Do note that this should be avoided if possible and to be done only when necessary, since the 500 kg bombs and Precision Strike are better used on Bile Titans.

    • @CommissarKai
      @CommissarKai  4 месяца назад +4

      This is EXACTLY what I wanted to highlight with this video. There are so many highly effective builds that get slept on because people haven't learned to play as a team yet. I like your build cadet! I haven't used the GL a ton yet since I usually favor the AC, but this sounds like a pretty well thought out build. I personally might change the OPS to the Railcannon (it's just so nice when you don't have something to deal with titans since you don't have to aim/time it), but otherwise it sounds like a very similar playstyle to what I just showed y'all.
      I only wouldn't take stun grenades in my build because I really value how immediately they kill packs of hunters. They're a good source of DoT that I can rely on when my Orbital gas strike is on cooldown. But, that is just my preference. I hope y'all will take my builds and really make them your own, especially if anyone has been feeling like they are stuck in one playstyle.

    • @dunadan7136
      @dunadan7136 4 месяца назад +3

      @@CommissarKai
      I personally find stuns to be indispensable especially in team play since stuns are a great way to help take pressure off a teammate immediately and help them breathe for a bit. I've stopped a charger mid charge quite a number of times and made it that much easier for my teammate to kill it that way.

    • @dunadan7136
      @dunadan7136 4 месяца назад +1

      @@CommissarKai
      As for the Grenade Launcher: it is excellent. People sleep on it because it is quite different from the other support weapons and/or don't think that swarm clear is valuable.
      There are very few support weapons that can clear out objectives as well as the Grenade Launcher due to its AoE firepower. You basically turn into an ultralight self-propelled gun with it. It is also very light and deals good burst damage, so very good if you need to move around quite a bit, which can easily happen on Helldive.
      The Grenade Launcher is effective both on bots and bugs. Against bugs it can quickly shut down bug swarms. Against bots, it can quickly take out a group of Berserkers trying to break your position or a group of Heavy Devastators at close range pinning down the team. Just remember to take a Scorcher with it on the bot front for dealing with gunships and to be a bit smarter when dealing with Factory Striders.

    For the bots, my favorite support loadout is Machine Gun/Supply Pack/Shield Generator/EATs (those one use rocket launchers). The idea is that many people are more used to fighting bugs, so running out in the open is a given and they often die. So I usually create a “safe zone” with the shield where smart players gather on me, giving me an opportunity to supply them both with extra reloads and anti-Hulk weaponry from the rocket launchers. It usually catches people off guard that I use the supply pack on them, and I notice that they’re more likely to help me out if they notice I’m in a jam.

    I love this! This is my exact mindset within my friend group, except I have to run anti-heavy instead of wave clear. Most of my friends are low level and prioritized wave clear, so I've adjusted my set up to lean heavily into anti-heavy in order to support them (I have more time to play, so I tend to be the highest level of the group).
    I run Blitzer and Eagle Napalm (though I swap to Sickle and Orbital Gas for bots, but we play mostly bugs) to not be useless when it's just little guys and to help with breaches. Other than that; I use Thermite, Quasar (Laser Cannon when playing bots), Orbital Rail, and the 500kg so that they can focus on what they find fun. Also Grenade Pistol so that I can still close factories and holes.
    Not sure what it is, but I've always loved playing support or filler roles. Something about seeing someone else get those big numbers and knowing that I helped them get there, even if the stats don't show it, just feels right for me.

      The blitzer would probably work really well with this setup. Does kind of the same job as the pummeler. I'll have to give the blitzer a shot though, I didn't use it much in solo play because stalkers were a nightmare. In teamplay, I bet it's a beast of a weapon.

      @rehernandez05 Has a much longer range than you think. Actually test it out from mid range - it can go pretty damn far, especially when it connects an arc.
      Learn to use it right and your friendly fires will be at a minimum.
      The Blitzer is WAY more useful than the Pummer in a lot of cases. Easier to manage groups and has infinite ammo. You're selling it way short.
      Probably one of the top 3 weapons for bugs, next to Breaker Incendiary, Dominator, Plasma Punisher, etc.

      @@CommissarKai I actually love using the Blitzer against stalkers. Ever since the fire rate buff, it's been my bread and butter against bugs. My favorite part is that it doesn't care if they're invisible, and jumping around like mad, lightning will strike more than twice on those predator wannabes xD
      Forewarning though, until AH fixes them, arc weapons REALLY like corpses and bushes. If you can avoid having those between you and your target as well as aiming a bit above their heads, that should minimize the misfire by quite a bit. I've gotten pretty good at kiting backwards or strafing left or right to keep my sightlines clear of debris.

    Been using this loadout on bugs as well as bots. Only thing you need to change up for bot missions is to use Eagle Airstrike over the 500kg, and Orbital Airburst over Gas… though you could stick with it if you’d prefer.
    As well as rocking medium Engineering Kit armor and Stun nades to lock Hulks down for your AC to two-shot them. You can also mix things up a bit with the primary? Pummeler is good against Devastators but you can use the Dominantor to get the same stun-locking effect for more damage at the cost of handling. The Sickle also exists for a good medium range primary too.

      I think this is what a lot of other Helldivers here on youtube miss with their tier lists or discussions about balance. There are absolutely some HUGE balance issues with certain weapons and enemy types, but the vast majority of weapons are extremely effective with the right loadout and a little bit of cooperation. When you coordinate with your team, this game is a lot more fun at least for me.

    My fav support loadout is gas strike, gatling sentry, 500kg and autocannon. The autocannon is the most versatile stratagem in the game and lets you damage weakpoints on chargers, tanks, heavy devastators, and turrets, closes bug holes and fabricators, and stun locks or just blows up anything smaller. Gas strike is S tier for large packs, bug holes and bot drops, and has a hidden slow mechanic. When you are being chased nothing is better. Gatling sentry is for shriekers and swarms as well as defending objectives. I never go bugs without it. If you drop next to shreikers you can lose half your reinforces because average players can't aim. Gatling trivializes them. The 500kg is so you have something for factory striders and titans.

    I'd also suggest checking out the Dominator as an alternative to the Pummeler. You still get knockback, a little slower fire rate, but on the higher difficulties where you get a few more mid-sized enemies (and less little guys) you can one-shot spewers in the face, and you'll drop the stalkers pretty fast too. Lower levels are gonna need someone else to help with the baby swarms.

    • @CommissarKai
      @CommissarKai  4 месяца назад

      I am reasonably confident that the dominator cannot one-tap bile spewers, even to the face. They are medium armored enemies (except for their behind and some of their legs), so the dominator will only be doing half damage. But, I am happy to be wrong.
      Dominator pairs well with a support weapon that can clear chaff, unless you want to fill the dedicated anti-medium/heavy role.

    Yes yes a thousand times yes. Im running practically the same build only im using the Liberator concussive for the longer range. Team work is not this mega complicated mind reading event. Its basic support and consideration for your fellow team mates. Tag everything so your team knows about patrols, heavies, stalkers, supplies, support weapons, objectives and anything else they need to know about. The more informed your squad is the better. If some one tags a heavy that an open invitation to shoot at it. So many hard to kill enemies go do so much faster with focus fire. You don't need to be first in everything or the fastest. You just got to pay attention to whats going on around you. Its so easy to get tunnel vision, but you have to remember your squad and the objective.

    Alright Commissar, maybe you can help me out with a loadout:
    I favor under just about any circumstance, the Stalwart. From the moment I flip that giggle-switch to 1150 RPMS and start shaking hands with lightning, that gun rarely ever leaves my hands. With a storm of lead I always favor accuracy by volume instead of accuracy by value.
    But in all truth, yes I love the stalwart. I almost always am capable of holding off a bot/bug push, or saving a diver just before something big and spiky grabs them. But, often times I feel like I'm missing something. I take the Stalwart and a supply pack, spread the love by giving out candy to both 'diver's bots and bugs alike, but what other things would you recommend? I was thinking about the grenade pistol plasma gun, or crossbow but I don't know how it would handle buildings or bigger threats. I do take the artillery strike (as I don't have the 500kg yet) and the gatling turret for security reasons. I wish I liked the autocannon since it's value supersedes that of the stalwart in a lot of situations, but I just... don't. Any suggestions?
    I'd also love a mech... when I hit level 20...

    • @CommissarKai
      @CommissarKai  4 месяца назад

      It brings a tear of joy to my eye hearing your passion for unloading round after round into the enemies of humanity, so here's what I would do. Start off with the stalwart, supply backpack, and impact grenades. These three things are going to be the core of your load out. For primaries, I would use any of these in this order: punisher plasma, Jar 5, scorcher, plasma purifier, slugger. If you haven't unlocked these yet, I think the slugger is the easiest to get. Now you have horde clear (stalwart) and anti-medium (primary + impact grenades). So, we just need something to take out the really big stuff. The orbital precision strike, 500kg (once you get it), and the orbital railcannon strike are going to be your best bets, but you can also take the EAT in addition to your stalwart until you get those others unlocked. The classic eagle airstrike can also work in a pinch (while being AMAZING at clearing bot drops or enemy patrols). For mechs, ill need some time to cook something up.
      I hope that helps cadet! Happy hunting o7

    Can you kill Chargers with Autocannon?
    Maybe Rail Cannon?
    I run Flamethrower on bugs usually since I can kill Chargers in just 2-3 seconds. I hate lacking the ability to deal with a heavy quickly. The longer its running around, the more danger my team is in.

    • @CommissarKai
      @CommissarKai  4 месяца назад

      The AC is NOT an anti-charger weapon, but killing them in 4 butt shots is not bad. If there's 1-2, you can easily handle them yourself. If there's more, you'll need to use your strats or your team. If you want to have your "role" in a squad be dealing with those heavy targets, this is not the build for that. That said, I'll look into doing a tankbuster build for y'all!
      This build is about killing everything smaller than a charger and letting your team deal with them for the most part. Like I said, one or two is easy to deal with, but with this build we're much more focused on horde clear and objectives (shrieker nests, bug holes, etc).
      If you want to see my flamethrower build, I released a solo helldive with it just a few days ago. I bet it works great in teams too!

      I should also note that if you have at hand 3 to 4 chargers at once, you really should be using your stratagems anyway and having heavy AT is not going to do you much good. There's really not much point in trying to kill them one by one at that point, just bunch them all up and one shot all of them at once with Precision Strike.
      I personally prefer using the Grenade Launcher myself because I can kill all the fodder restricting my movement. Chargers are really not that dangerous. Just run towards them at an angle then hit dive before it hits you. Easy to do when you've killed basically every one of his friends and thus have all the space you need to yourself.
