@@jonkyojin7804 Okay, this'll ruin the fun. But I'll explain my unfunny joke. You referred to him as "The most powerful egg", I found that funny and decided to go along with the joke. Since he's a demon, it's quite obvious he has horns. So I typed "Thorns" because he has plenty of pointy things (his ears and horns) while in his Egg form. Not the best explanation, but hope you got my point. 😅

I think it's because the evil cycle doesn't actually turn you evil, it just releases your limits and want to do everything that satisfies your desires and since Iruma is innocent through and through he just becomes a lot more confident because he doesn't have evil thoughts
@hunterofdarkness8329 I'd agree with that, yeah. The evil cycle seems more like the unbridled desires and power, then actually specifically they turn evil. I think since most demons desires aren't necessarily good, they consider it an evil cycle.

It's because evil cycles remove a demon's restraints for example if you have bad thoughts about wanting to punch someone you *WILL* punch that someone. In Iruma's case hes just so nice that he doesn't have any thoughts like that, so in evil cycle hes just more confident but still the old iruma

I still can't believe they got Takaya Kuroda, the VA for Kiryu Kazuma, the manliest man ever created in a video game, to play Sullivan the doting grandpa. And he acts all cutesy and lovely towards Iruma all the time. Just amazing.
Yet, it still fit with Kiryu Kazuma's characteristic. He's an uncle, a dad, and a grandpa in one package. If he could, he would act like this when his life finally be peaceful
He was cast for one reason: Sullivan is actually badass whenever he talks about "education" or Derkila. In fact all the three greats(Leviathan, Belial, Sullivan) were. It's shown in Season 3's final episode, and will be shown on the first 13 dinner event Iruma will attend. Even his jailbreak scene from Season 1 shows why they got Kiryu to voice Sullivan. Poor father-in-law was frozen in fear when Sullivan went serious after receiving Robin's help notice.
They gave him a vacation worth of a role
His general tone as Grandpa Sullivan is close to Kiryu’s karaoke voice.

Well we know some story behind it:
Opera used to be deliquent at Babyls school, and was friend with Balam-sensei and Kalego. Opera said that their role is security devil, someone who has a "depending" relationship with their master, and is willing to give their master from the fingernail to the last drop of blood. Probably Sullivan saved Opera before or sth
