just drawing a conclusion from what is displayed, I'd be willing to bet her athletic activities caused the dislocation in the first place. Yes, the relief is amazing, and no the ribs normally don't just float back out like what you would expect with neck or spine. Have 3 separated ribs myself from football when I was growing up. 43 now and it takes a heck of a lot for me to get one dislocated again.
We had an amazing chiropractor in the SF Bay area - she actually was a teacher at the local chiro school. I went to my MD with what I thought were kidney pains. Runs all sorts of tests $$$, kidneys are fine, tells me it’s probably just muscle spasms and will self resolve. I was at my chiro for a regular visit and told her about it. She sits me up on the table - does several palpitations in the area and immediately says - okay, it’s not your kidneys (no I didn’t tell her what the doc said). She said - you have a rib out. Never heard of that. She did a similar adjustment to this one here (while nearly all adjustments are painless, this one was not and she warned me ahead of time). I immediately felt better and by the time I got home the pain was nearly completely gone - never to return. She knew more about medicine and the human body than any MD I ever went to.
Doctors learn to treat broken bones, illnesses, and those sorts of things. A chiropractor focuses on readjusting the musculoskeletal system. I don't think you should be upset with the MD. It's like having an English teacher teaching Science, it's not their area of expertise.
Half a decade of pain under my shoulder blade, after I slept, ran, or did a pushup. Massage and foam rolling helped my "junk shoulder," for a day or week. But my first trip to a chiropractor ever, in my late thirties, and that pain finally was diagnosed as rib joints out of place. After the manipulation, I also did my prescribed strengthening exercises diligently. I am in awe of the ability to address people's pain, and I believe I understand her relief. Thanks.
This is what chiropractors are for! 9/10 times people really do not need it, and finding a doctor that knows a legit one is tough. Avoid solo ones, and go for one that works in a little judicial rehab facility
She wasn't that thrilled. Try living for chronic back pain that puts you through the wringer daily. Relief from such daily life suffering is a monumental feeling of pure gratitude!
I've had this happen to me. When it goes back into place it's just instant relief and you can finally breathe without feeling like you're being stabbed.
I get it, there's definitely times I left the chiropractors office laughing because the adjustment just blew my mind so much. Loud, hurt at first, and then, huge relief.
I laughed at a sports injury massage and the female practitioner went nuts. She stormed out and I could hear her say to the boss " I won't do it he's laughing " I think she was new and took her job far too seriously. I don't know why but the sensation of body parts clicking back into place makes me giggle. Especially when I didn't know that these parts existed 😂

He was in the office for 10 minutes, had one of his ribs put back in place, and for the first time in months was pain free. I hope he’s the type of chiro that gives you stretches and corrects your posture/behavior that’s causing it and not the kind that pops it back in knowing it’ll pop back out in a couple days so he can charge you to pop it back in again
just drawing a conclusion from what is displayed, I'd be willing to bet her athletic activities caused the dislocation in the first place.
Yes, the relief is amazing, and no the ribs normally don't just float back out like what you would expect with neck or spine. Have 3 separated ribs myself from football when I was growing up. 43 now and it takes a heck of a lot for me to get one dislocated again.
Probably is. No idea why thos is even a thing
Hey, you get a 1 in 20,000 chance on an arterial dissection included for free!
she's wearing a "gymshark" shirt - I have a feeling this was a "sports" injury.
But if he does he can’t book her for her next alignment/adjustment.
Thanks.
Did the pain in your shoulder blade make it difficult to breathe? Maybe that’s what’s wrong with mine.
This is what chiropractors are for! 9/10 times people really do not need it, and finding a doctor that knows a legit one is tough. Avoid solo ones, and go for one that works in a little judicial rehab facility
lol i just posted the same story, rt shoulder i though, right rib it was. such relief!

You'll get some pain killers and maybe some radiation, that's it.

I was even able to work the next day, which is great because had a hospital bill to pay off 😂
That sounds like it beats doing it yourself. I highly recommend not going self service route. I dislocated my shoulder and arm was stuck straight up in the air so I pulled it down and it sounded like a knot in a tree twisting and crunching.
Haha. I did the same thing at a Misfits concert in July. Except I popped it back in myself. I wrapped my shirt around my water bottle stuffed it in my armpit and pinched my wrist with my knees then stood up as fast as I could. Pop it back into place. The kind that will move your rib back into place
I've had ribs out stabbing into my lungs. When i get it back in, that relief is so good. That first dreep breath is amazing. Never had one or in that location though 🧐
When my son was a Senior in HS, he began to have severe pain in his chest. Had him checked by doctors, heart specialists, did stress tests, x-rays, everything they could think of. They couldn't find any reason for his pain. We asked if we should try a chiropractor and were told to "not waste our money". But we did anyway. He was in the office for 10 minutes, had one of his ribs put back in place, and for the first time in months was pain free. And yeah, it comes out of place periodically but by now he's learned how to put it back in place on his own. So though it's not a permanent fix, it helped him when "medical" doctors were stumped.
yep chiropractics is amazing, our bodies are designed to heal themselves naturally but big pharma cant make as much money off that ...glad to hear he can pop it back in himself, i think yoga is a similar concept but i believe we are able to practice chiropract on ourselves to and realign our spines etc
It shouldn't be coming out at all...he needs to build muscle to hold it in.
In the early 20th century , big pharma tried to ban chiropractors and call them a fraud. Good thing the courts seen through pharma's bullsh!t and called them out on it.
