I've always been peripherally aware of Mayim Bialik's very unique life journey as a fan & observer of pop culture & the entertainment industry. From "Beaches" to "Blossom" to her remarkable decision to not only leave the business but pursue the highest levels of education & dedicate herself to an extremely complex field, personal highs & lows with marriage and then her return to show business...there's really no one like her. So I had natural curiosity about her podcast when I saw it on RUclips. I've now been a regular viewer for quite some time. I'm not Jewish. I'm not of Mayim's generation. I don't have children. I'm not religious but I am spiritual. All those "differences" aside, now I pay attention to her as far more than a celebrity with an interesting backstory. She combines an ability to articulately break down (no pun intended) extremely intricate or even arcane knowledge & information with a humor, a practicality, & a humanity that makes every episode enriching in different & unexpected ways. She's someone whose stories I find comforting in their commonality, yet she's also a beacon, a literal source of in-depth knowledge & study who can back up just about any opinion with empirical fact and/or life experience. Thank you, I really enjoyed watching this interview.
I have learned more about Judaism in this episode than I have my whole life and I find it and Mayim as always fascinating. What a wonderful show thank you for sharing it with us ❤
Mayim appears to be very authentic and holds onto her Jewish traditions and lives her life according to her beliefs. Of course, she is very intelligent, but admirable because of her actions of being a good person. I loved hearing about her family history, which is a very important part of all our lives. Look forward to seeing her in any movie in the future. Elizabeth from Australia.
Great, I love Mayim, huge fan! But please, that intro “…and she’s just getting started!” What? No she isn’t, she’s been working hard since she was 11, what are you talking about? 🙄
Hope all is well Mayim. Hope Miles, Frederick and your Mom are enjoying life. Hope Iliza, her husband and their daughter are well. Oh yes, I extremely glad that you have found good loving with your boyfriend, Mr Cohan!
What does a "Jewish" actor mean? Are we speaking visual or religion? Are we speaking Ashkenazim or Sephardic or Ethiopian or Bantu or Yemen or Indian or Chinese? SMH
