Awesome tutorial! Really helpful seeing how to use decals in a more comprehensive way than some of the other tutorials I've found. I did find that the music's a little loud. Still fully intelligible, just would be a bit easier to focus on what you're saying. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge here on RUclips. It's really precious material and I love your sandstorm effects. Am trying to create something similar in my next portfolio project ^_^
Appreciate your content sir! Thanks for the video tutorial, I know it's already been a year but I have troubles finding the Opacity maps in quixel bridge or anywhere else. Didn't have an experience to build it by myself and don't have a APS, so pls would you mind helping me out?
For an entire landscape, I would recommend doing the same thing but in your landscape material with no alpha (since it is not a decal) that will spread it over everything
@@azielarts I have one more question. How can I change the albedo color of the decal to match the color of the sand? I used a yellowish sand and changed the color with albedo, but i can seem to find it.
@@reformd6662 oops sorry didn't see this before. You will need to make a color by holding 3 and clicking, and then l multiply that color over the existing color or texture of the decal. Then right click convert to parameter to modify the color in a material instance later.
Great video! Is there a way to have it not overlap with other assets when in game? When I have my player walk around the materiel goes over him. @azielarts
Hey thanks! Yep there is a checkbox on each asset called effected by decal, or something along those lines. Also when you build your project I believe the decals are baked in
This is Awesome workflow. Many Thanks for sharing 🎉
Absolutely 👍

Absolutely, you are welcome 👍

Is there a way to do this in UEFN?
I didn't find a way in the Material Node Section to blend the Sand and the Waves together.
Ooh that I have no idea. I have not used the fortnight version yet
How do I do this for the entire landscape?

How add displacement for decals
When my character walks over the decal he also gets the effect, how do I avoid that? :)
Never used Quixel Bridge before
Hey! Can you link the alpha mask for me please?
You can grab it from megascans through my unreal engine for free. Just look under the decal classification
@@azielarts Thanks!
