You can use dropping the anchor to do sort of a "handbrake" turn which would have been useful at the island. ;)

they should have different variations of sharks that attack you in different ways like ambush and they could ram you
Braden Burns there are two types by my observations. The regular sharks and the “battled-scarred” who appear to take more damage to put down.

The captain actually didn't steer the ship...that was the helmsman (since you really can't see well from the helm)

Y, been thinking that alot watching the vids. I hope in the final version there are more then 4 crewmembers possible, so that a real captain, who just gives orders, is possible... Now that I think about it: If there are enough players, there should be the possibiltiy to build small fleets as well! That would be awesome... but on the other hand: organized clans could then ruin the fun for solo-players and smaller groups...
i think the best would be like an 8 or 10 man ship but that might be too many people maybe 6 or 8
That happened to me with the boat launching back but I was in the water behinde it. It launched into the middle of the ocean.
It's ironic if Blitz actually get hits by lightning, cus you know Blitz, lightning in German Xp

Beta ended, so there won't be any new videos, probably only old pre-made footage. We need to wait 2 more months :(
you can still play it closed beta closed but now for a large payment of $60 you can play open beta no idea where you got 2 months from as the full game is out in march
Okay, one and a half months. Better? It's out in March 20, so it's exactly that. About the beta I didn't know that, thank you for the information, I thought you can't play it anymore.

Hey Baron, you should play some more M&B Warband: Napoleonic Wars. It just got a huge update, they added artillery guards, medics, and a new faction; Rheinbund (Confederation of the Rine).

While it still has so few other players while its still in beta, I just want to see you guys run into (and wreck) Jack's crew...
the game has over 3,000 people in the closed beta the chances are slim of them even being it the same server
It might also have separate servers for Europe and the Americas. It does not mean that we can't want to see something like that happen.

What pirate say left and right on a ship? It's port and starboard. Port is left side of the boat if you're facing the bow (front)

the sea turns blood red and it starts breaking holes all over your boat the water flows in faster than normal so there is no saving the ship

and i've heard that if you sail south past florida your ship will actually fall off of our great flat earth and then just fall into space

You should try to collect as many boats as you can and make a convoy
If the whole crew of the ship dies or leaves the game the ship automatically sinks.
Yeah the helmsman steers the ship and captain is in charge
